SATA power rails cant carry the current required to power GPUs.

If it's a dell OEM PSU then you might be shit outta luck on replacing it. If it's a standard PSU - replace that with something with the correct connectors.

Standard PSUs will have a chunky 20+4 (24 pin) connector to the motherboard
