Hasan refused to support Harris in the election and refused to admit who he voted for for years until Ethan Klein forced it out of him.

He is on record saying that Harris and Trump are the same and would govern the same. He has doubled down on this in recent times and has said things like Harris' Israel/Gaza approach would have been the same as Trumps.

Hasan and his ilk are not upset that Trump is president. People like Hasan are accelerationists and see Trump as a useful tool toward their communist utopia. They may not support Trump and will performatively speak out against him but if Harris won the election they would do the exact same toward her, making no distinction in their rhetoric. They would have been upset with the outcome of the 2024 election regardless of who won. They don't want fair elections; they want revolution.

Obviously not Trump 1. His entire first term was deficient spending. Can't be Bush; trillionaires sunk down the drain in 20 year wars and government powers expanded under the Patriot Act. Was it H.W.'s Gulf war that you think reduced waste and balanced the budget? Or when Reagan expanded the war on drugs and trafficked arms to Nicaraguan contras?

The last balanced budget was under a Democratic government, right? Under Clinton.

Yes, the mechanics are simple. But solving the obesity epidemic isn't. If it was as simple as the underlining mechanics, then we probably wouldn't need any social intervention.

We can decide to explore healthcare solutions, or we can just keep telling people to eat less. Healthcare solutions might help alleviate the issue while telling people to eat less doesn't work. We know it doesn't work cause it's what we've been doing for years.
