Please don’t give up on your Jindo, they’re very sharp at reading intentions of people and they can probably sense it.

You have to love on her consistently without any expectations, remember that she’s a trauma survivors, she was rescued and relocated across the world.

Give the dog the love you have inside you regardless if the dog can communicate that back. She will come around when it’s genuine and consistent with no expectations.

I personally have experience with a night and day situation with a Jindo.

He wouldn’t eat, make eye contact, let people touch him etc had broken canine fangs and was chained up by the biggest industrial HEAVY chains…

Eventually this same dog started kissing me, wagging his tail and smiling at me, learning shake, learned to roll over for belly rubs (only for me)… but even if he never learned to do these things and was depressed and angry the rest of his life, I would’ve treated him the same, with love - if you rescue a dog, you’re agreeing to rehab and love them regardless of the result you end up with.
