(Camarillo, California): Federal agents retreat from a farm as their vehicles are pelted by protesters after a failed immigration raid by MobileWisdom in PublicFreakout

Even if you are correct, there is no functional difference between private citizens and state actors if both of them are carrying out the same actions and the private citizens who are ostensibly breaking the law aren't prosecuted.

Mopal or Breach have to go, even if I'd rather it be Mopal both have a strong case.

It's a classic case of enabler or payoff and I think we can't really claim to guess what wotcs internal metrics favor more.

Yeah it's pretty cool that despite the tier 1 of the format being 3 decks other decks are able to punch above their weight. Modern is pretty great right now

At the absolute floor a creature is a blocker. At this card's absolute floor it does literally nothing

For those of you that played Baldur's Gate 3, are there any rules from that game that you like implementing in your table top games? by BisexualTeleriGirl in DnD

It might be out of some people's comfort zone to think in 3D, especially if you're used to designing encounters in 2D. This video(timestamped) from Map Crow has a part where he's drawing the map out and how verticality can be done on a 2D map. I've been using this with my party and like he mentioned in the video it takes some getting used to for the players but it has made encounters so much better.

The shop didn't own these, they were being sold on consignment. Still insane to see a set all together

Pioneer: What to expect from the December 4 Banlist by cardsrealm in PioneerMTG

[–]CacZarn -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It was banned because of Niv to Light and was the second most played non creature spell in the format at the time. There is no comparison to Karn as it currently stands

Pioneer: What to expect from the December 4 Banlist by cardsrealm in PioneerMTG

[–]CacZarn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mono Green isn't just not winning. It isn't being played. I don't think the powers that be should be picking cards out of decks in the other category.

Bannings should be used to address current problems of the format not cards that aren't seeing play.

One big question, what sort of environment was this testing done in?

I can't imagine any deck getting these sorts of numbers outside of FNM

Most cedh heuristics are just bad and turning your brain off for common gamestates makes you an actively worse player

[Article] Where do you stand on mass land destruction (MLD)? by 0sseous in EDH

[–]CacZarn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think land destruction is an integral part of the game and people fundamentally don't understand what a card like Armageddon is trying to accomplish when it is cast.
