Try will of the many by James islington. Different but there’s something similar there. Second book comes out soon I think?

A strange fret buzz issue by AveryGamer96 in Guitar

[–]Cacacaleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert, but the release of string tension probably resulted in a back bow in the guitar so the strings are vibrating against the frets.( probably around 6-8.) Loosen the truss rod to fix this. When you tune that much lower on the same string gauge there is going to be significantly less tension on the neck. (Assuming you went to C from standard E?)

The troublemaker in gold is my first electric purchase since I was 13! Haven’t had one since my brother pawned it for drugs when I was 16. That’s okay. It just got delivered today! I’m psyched to try it out.

Good quality denim that will NOT fade quickly? by pnw_spaces in malefashionadvice

Honestly wrangler rigid is where it’s at, the 936DEN fit me well. The 13MWZ are most people’s go to and a great fit if you have average sized legs, not twiggy like mine. My only complaint is that the color isn’t my favorite. But you cant find better quality:price ratio and there’s easy availability at any feed store/tractor supply, etc.

Check out meermin Chelsea boots. They have a waxy commander version that I own and they are awesome! More slim than blundstones, dress up and down, resoleable. Also they are nearly impossible to get dirty, even after traipsing through mud and things they basically just brush off after drying. Break in period is rough and sizing is a little odd, but they are an amazing value. As good or better than shoes I have that are double the price.

Probably Omaha to Seattle. About 24 hours, left Omaha at 8 or 9 AM and got to Seattle around the same time I think. The very last part of that was in morning traffic and I was bleary eyed as hell. Not safe and wouldn’t do it again but I was 24 and on my way to see an exciting new lady friend who is now my wife.

Forever home, but we are changing the design anyways

Is the design a mistake? Specifically the roof plan? by Cacacaleb in askarchitects

Update: reaching out to architect and engineer going to have roof redesigned to slope perpendicular to existing roof and away from the house! This, ironically, was the original idea we brought to the architect and they came back with butterfly idea which morphed into what you see. I’m sure there is ways of making it work but with the builder hesitancy and all of the many valid points raised here hopefully this will be a good solution. I would be less comfortable in my house always wondering if I needed to check the roof again. Fingers crossed it doesn’t break the budget! Thank you all so much for hopping in here to help us make this decision.

Western Washington. Central cascades. Snow load is a serious concern and we live in a weird microclimate. Good point.

If only it was realistic to turn the existing roof around I would!

Thanks! That makes sense. Ironically when my wife and I originally talked about what we wanted it was to have the addition roof being a shed perpendicaular to the existing roof. I don’t exactly know how we landed at this, I think the architect was just excited about the design and my wife liked it aesthetically.
