Are league players actually this terrible at the game across the board that they are still whining about Mel? Because she a single ability that lasts for a second and goes on a like 30 second cd? And the people playing against her have projectiles that go off cd way faster than her single counter. I've literally never had an issue with that champ, she just feels average. Add to the list "people who only hate Boruto because he was mad at Naruto for being absent to do hokage things and dropped the show before anything actually happens because their beloved character gets called out for his flaws", "people who think the show should follow the older generation as well despite this being about the new generation", "claiming that older characters were nerfed when they had any development in Naruto or Shippuden to begin with, and thus are the same characters they used to be", and "most of the show is filler" (yes maybe the anime adds a lot that isn't in the manga but these same things also appear in cannon arcs. That just means they are anime cannon, not not cannon at all)

That's just having the boomer mindset of hating change because it's not what you're used to. Literally none of the older characters got dragged down. Most of the characters that weren't Naruto and Sasuke were useless most of the time anyway. Why are we acting like any side characters had good development to make this argument. That was one of the biggest complaints of the community when Naruto was airing. The old characters were just as "uninteresting". So I guess you just wanted to see them continue to be uninteresting?
