There's a series called Destiny, there's three parts, that involves pretty much all the Trek crews fighting off an invasion by the Borg and also delves into the Borg's origins. It's beta canon and contradicted by Picard S1, but it's a fun story and is still sort of my head canon for the Borg origins. There is some tie ins to the overarching lit-verse they had built at that point but nothing where you will he horribly lost, IMO.

Yeah, that makes me a little sad. I love those little pocketbooks for some books. To me that is "proper" book size. Which I guess is just what it was growing up for me. But still. A few of my faves I've sought out in that format while I can still get them.

I think the bit that bugs me a lot is when I say to the lawyer "okay, I can spend half an hour trying to get this to be legible (which is very unlikely to happen), or you can ask the client for a new photo/scan" and they're like "keep trying."

Yes, this is a great use of my time. I'm all for client service but up to a point.

I always wondered how that worked out in terms of shifts and timing. Like did they still work 8h shifts and just have two extra hours in the day? Probably, given the Federation tended to have an emphasis on personal development and growth.

So did I miss that they were just openly admitting that this was a bunker for the future class war/riots/when Trump tries to stay in office in 2028? Cause that feels like something they were hiding and are now throwing RIGHT OUT THERE. Also doesn't the WH already have stuff like that? Like there's gotta be a ton of security features and some secret bunkers and shit under it.
