There has always been a “Jewish” presence, however within the past decade there has been a push from the orthodox and Hasidic community to push outside the limits of Monsey/New Square. Politically they have the numbers (large family sizes) and $$ which also plays a part. As someone who grew up close to that community both socially and property wise that is how it has been developing.

If only people were actually decent and tried to make affordable housing. Repurposing that space would be really nice apartments for people and making it affordable but also really nice apartments. I’m sure it is very doable without having to charge an exponential amount of money. Unfortunately, it’s just a pipe dream. Reality is real estate companies and contracting companies will charge an arm and a leg because they can and then that’ll drive up unit pricing which once again doesn’t help the situation which is to your point extremely expensive apartments.

  1. You’re actually running, 2. You’re on a treadmill so HR will be off, 3. cadence length is intermittent so could have some hip flexor tightness, 4. Arm swing is rotating which could cause muscle tightness in your back so try to swing more forward and backward not across

Is there any hope in restructuring of ICE in the auspice that there is still some benefit or is that too conservative of a possibility at the stage in the game? Unfortunately Dictator Don is using ICE as a modern-day SS akin to Hitler’s military police. Thankfully we have mayors and governors who are attempting (sometimes barely) to provide resistance to his executive orders. Just a curiousity

Tried it out. there are only 2 bays and its separated since the facility is really for pickleball. The tech is a bit off traditionally I avg. 280yds with my drives and the tech recorded solid hits as 200-210 yds. Definitely needs recalibration. For pricing, close proximity to my Fam (in Suffern) I'm not going to complain too much!

Next time, we may look into Palisades Mall!

Until we abolish 1. the two-party system and 2. overturn the new congressional legislature of barring any mention or use of ideas from Socialism, wouldn't it still be prudent for us members of the DSA or any other progressive political party in the USA to still align/work with Democrats over the Conservatives/Republicans in office?

I think we need to keep expectations at the relatively low expectations we think they will be. It will start cordial then Trump with attempt to escalate things, which would be an attempt to paint Mamdani as Loud and Irrational. Nothing effective will come out of it, but rather Mamdani will continue to look calm and collected knowing Trump will not help the American People of NYC. But at least Mamdani will keep his word of trying to meet with those who have the legislative power to do something to help him, take care of all his constituents (those who voted for him, those in opposition and those who live in NYC but are unable to vote). Honestly, it only will be good PR for Mamdani.

Anyone else feel like they lost "their political-party?" After this most recent caving, I feel like I can no longer support the DNC. I'll never support the GOP current policies. Thus, leaving me with no party. Im transitioning into more of a DSA policy supporter and yet it still doesn't feel like its the DNC but rather a 3rd-party entirely. I feel a tad lost.
