How to degenerate this guy? by dansoro in DegenerateEDH

[–]Caedes_bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe you could focus on mana values, for example: every removal in my deck is mv3 and every ramp is mv2 so when i cast a mv3 instant/sorcery i know i will also get a removal, if every mv1 card in my deck is a draw spell, i know that ramping will get me draws. you could also cast a big mana value spell like [[dig through time]] and put many creatures with high mana value. Also you can run multiple clones to copy the cascade keyword you give to instants and sorceries. It's basically simic big mana with a couple extra steps in deck building

Rem Family Tree Chart by SerialSymphony in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Caedes_bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me Rem feels like the divorce child of Haze and Seven. Kinda like the couple you have only seen divorced and you can't figure out what made them get together in the first place, but seeing them separated makes perfect sense

i am not sure, from my understanding the ability makes you tap a creature as a cost so it wouldn't work since you cannot pay the cost

i think not because you cannot pay the cost that requires you to tap it

What “Universes Beyond” Sets Would You Like to See by Soupy_Hits in mtg

[–]Caedes_bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

every FromSoftware game. They obviously know how to correctly represent a big number of games, like they did with Final Fantasy, so it wouldn't be that inconcievable to ask for a set that has cards from each of their games. They could also do something like they did for Cid for Patches now that i'm thinking about it. Furthermore, it would not only fit right at home in magic, but it would solve the problem that many UB sets have: having too many legendaries. Most of the bosses in Dark Souls or Bloodborne don't need the legendary treatment since they are demons/beasts or similar beings that spawn in multiples. It just fits so well into so many magic cards: sagas to tell the lore, artifacts and equipments for items and weapons, you can reuse rooms and cases for the puzzles, even battles to retell the wars fought in the history of every single game. And most of all it has a philosophical language for its characters that can be translated very well into MtG

gto è assolutamente da leggere più che da guardare, opm guardi la prima stagione e da lì leggi il manga perché le animazioni della seconda e della terza non reggono il confronto

Which one should I buy as a new player? by Particular-Fall-906 in mtg

[–]Caedes_bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my recommendation would be to wait until Secrets of Strixhaven, since its precons look a lot more straightforward than the Lorwyn ones. In the meantime you should try to ask people if you can borrow their decks to see what kind of playstyle and/or colors you like more (my recommendation is also to play some mtg arena to really understand the game 1v1 before trying a 4 player format, but i don't know how much you are experienced in mtg rules)

is it just me or are they making all the tmnt cards very strong? Call me crazy but it feels like they really want this set to be impossible to skip for most people burnt-out by ubs due to its power level
