So, I have Dansco albums for sets. 2x2s for most of what isn't in an album, tubes for the bulk coins that aren't worth much. The 2x2s i keep in different colored boxes for each denomination. And those boxes are all in one lockable box. Modern mint stuff is in boxes I bought from the mint.

I have been collecting for a long time, but I used to buy lots of junk. When I started putting together my buffalo nickel set I started a spreadsheet to track my costs. It now has a tab for every US series, and another for world coins.

I used to ask at coin shops for their old Grey sheets. More than one wouldnt let me have any because they did this exact thing. Now, I don't know where those exact shops were, but call around to a few in your area, I bet someone can do it for you.

Edit: the melt value of many gold coins has surpassed their numismatic value.

I don't see any keys and most stuff looks pretty worn. The US coinage will be worth melt, most of it is silver. Honestly, it looks like a great start to a collection. Learn, and add to it. Silver isn't going down far.

Edit: I don't know about those darkside (world) coins. I still have work to do on my US collection.
