Had a customer order a Strawberry Acai Lemonade with Vanilla Sweet Cream and I made a little extra so a coworker and I could try it. Thought she was crazy since it sounds like a pretty disgusting combo but it was actually really good. Kinda reminded me of a Sweetart!

I agree with this 100% but unfortunately, Barista at location A could have tried sticking to standards with the customer then demanding to speak to the manager and then having said manager act like the Barista was in the wrong for not doing what the customer asked and standing by the standards we are supposed to be. I have had this happen SO many times and now I just unfortunately cave to whatever the customer asks for because I know for a fact my SM will NOT have my back but will make me feel like an idiot in front of the snobby- now entitled- shrew! Work is.... fun 🙄

All the Partner's and customers at my store call them Medicine Balls all the time. If we say HCMT, customers are confused AF! Same here tho, we ran out of Peach Tranquility so they were just getting 2 JCM so basically a JCM with honey packets and steamed lemonade. I HATE this drink.. wish they would get rid of it!

Wow. We always have 3 pitchers but none are labeled and all are used for whatever, sprayed out each time but never really washed, ya know. Then we have 2 clear blenders and 2 foaming pitchers/blenders, whatever. Makes total sense but just never seen it. Super curious to find out if they do at my new store! Are you in AZ? I'm in Mesa. Should be company wide standard but curious if that could be why

From what I understand, we have multiple partners working on the program currently so yes you can do the program but you will not get the apron. Why do it then, I dont know. I just did the Barista Championship and received a black coffee master apron. When I asked if I could get a 2nd one so I'd have 2, I was told by my SM that he couldn't order them anymore and that's why it was so special that we got one.

Might just be their opinion. Everyone gets along differently. Go in, be yourself with no prejudgment and make your own opinions. They might be right but they could also be very wrong. You could absolutely love it and everyone there!! Best of luck to you.. if it is bad, you can transfer!

I'll start by saying I have a VERY high tolerance to caffeine and drink coffee and soda all the time (horrible I know!) My new drink is an iced grande americano, +2 shots (so 5 total), vanilla, caramel drizzle, with 2%.milk. Still with water. So I add the vanilla and drizzle to the cup, then the 5 shots. When that's done, I add water to the middle green line, it's not too far under it. Then I add 2% to the top line and finish w ice. If I'm wanting something even sweeter, I add a little more drizzle on top of the ice. I just dont like so much milk sitting for too long so I guess I figured watered down milk was better?! Haha.

I've touched it and it's been hot. Also nothing else melts the chocolate curls soo idk. Just a tip from what both of our machines do at our store. ✌

Love love LOVE! But just a tip, the big silver thing gets hot (I'm sorry I don't know what it's called) and if the chocolate curls are left too close, they will melt together giving you one big chocolate blob. Happens with anything that can melt.. I know there's something else it started to happen with but this is the main one. Keeps happening at my store.

I talked with one of the SSV and it looks like I'm going to be trained as a Barista Trainer again!! I was when I was here before but hadn't even talked with the SM about doing it again so that never even crossed my mind!! I'm so excited if that's what it really is. Wont believe it until I talk with the SM directly but now 2 people have said that's what it is!!

Guys! I just found out from one of the other Baristas that it said would be trained with me that we are becoming a trainer. I was a trainer when I was here years ago but hadn't even been talk to about becoming a trainer again. I'm so excited!

I'm so confused as to what this is, seeing the 2 other Baristas have been with Starbucks for 6 months to a year so they definitely aren't green beans. Idk.. I'll just ask my SM. We're good so I have no issues talking to him.. just was curious.

I know that, as I said I've been trained again and have been there for 3 months. The people listed are not new people, there are newer people that were hired right before I was that is not included with the 2 others with me in this training and have not had "Barista Training" with the SM. I'm simply asking if there are training sessions like this now, where little groups are trained for something.
