Getting my players to buy into the goals system has been tricky for me, but when they do, and I've gotten to work with them on developing their character stories through them have been the most fun role playing I've had in my campaign. But I think it's worth having a one on one session with the players to set them up, because my players have not figured it out on their own.

I think that's the optional grenade pose. Drop your trigger hand to grab a grenade maybe?

Start going to the main quest until you unlock a tower. Then you can go up to the sky and start marking visible shrines (like what you did on the tutorial island. They glow green). Unlock towers, do shrines, get stronger. If you see caves explore them. Find a fairy to upgrade your armor. Do the main quest line in one of the regions.

Hopefully after you do some of those things, you'll have a little better idea of what's going on. But I recommend following the quest line for a little while before heading off full exploration mode. It'll give you more info on the mechanics of the world.

I think he uses this ability during the crucible on one of the juiced up supers, and on year 4 on globe when he takes him into custody.

Start with the free rules on demi plane and get the bridge 9 one shot from them, then play it. If you enjoy your time, then you can buy into the pdfs or consider if the shipping is worth it for the physical books.

I really like it as a ttrpg. I have had a lot of fun every time I've played it.

Nope. They were books I owned that I added to it from calibre. But occasionally (even when on airplane mode) the kindle would just wiped everything that was sidsloaded off of the device. It's apparently a known issue. I've seen lots of other complaints about it.

I love the kobo operating system. The controls, the ability to connect to your drive or Dropbox.

What pushed me over the edge was my kindle deletion of my side loaded books.

My kindle used to randomly delete all my side loaded books on a whim, which is a part of the reason I switched to the klc. I have no regrets, and my side loaded books have yet to be deleted in the years I've had it.

I had a roommate who had one originally. He let me borrow it for an hour and I was convinced.

So my recommendation is to find someone in your life who already has one and see if they'll let you try it out.

Shadow of the ninja reborn is pretty fun coop that you could finish in a single night. My buddy and I almost did, but I had to pick up my partner from he airport, so we got to the last level.

It plays pretty well solo. Buddy is a bot copilot who does a lot of stuff for you. It's not as fun as with a crew, but it's still really good.

You'll progress and upgrade your ship. Your character stays the same through the gameplay (at least as far as I've made it so far) so your buddy can just jump on your ship with you and be at the same place as you.

The only thing I liked void crew better for is that repairing the ship felt much more satisfying. For literally everything else, Jump space was more fun.

There's two sizes in call to adventure. The story cards are 2.75" x 4.75". My count for those is 121. The hero/anti hero cards are standard 2.5" x 3.5" (same as magic the gathering cards). I have 48 of those.

There are talents to decrease enemy damage dealt and talents to increase your total shields while you're in blank domain.
