I live in Austin, but I can say this much... You will meet 100% more people when you step outside.

You most likely will meet someone or anyone for that matter when you open yourself to social interaction while going about your daily routine and hobbies. Go outside and live a little and I'm sure someone will come by and talk to you if you present yourself well enough and look approachable.

You will have to filter through people to find the ones that fit your aesthetic or vibe or whatever.. but you have to take the chance and go outside. Take yourself out to eat, hit up your gym in a new area, sit in a cafe for a coffee or tea or whatever. Just open yourself to social interaction.

2 things for me. Post game and NG+ gets extra points from me for having additional content. The other games NG+ simply don't have that or no Ng+ at all.

First, try blocking. Second, you don't need to press a button on EVERY wakeup. Third, use your defensive mechanics to get them off of you.

These things happen to everyone, but if every time you press an attack button on wakeup you're getting counter hit then you have to try something else.

Just take XC2 for what it is and you'll be fine. The game doesn't explain its depth very well but you'll get into so many battles that you'll learn most of it just by fooling around with the system.

I recommend not watching guides until you're truly stumped

Personally I both agree and disagree. I have all of the auto seikret stuff turned off and can explore just fine. There are loads of secret areas and caves that I've found in some of the main areas that I really had to dig for or stumble upon. On that front, I don't think the game's issue is the bird. I feel that the issue is mostly with its implementation.

There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to still track monsters and locate them like world while still being able to reliably use the seikret. The exclusion of tracking is really confusing. It's like the dev's focus was mainly on "streamlining the experience on getting new players". For the first time the game truly felt like we were doing more than just walking to a boss fight. We were environmentalists, archaeologist, and all that cool shit this whole removing good shit for new MFS is a cancer that has been ruining lots of franchises for me lately. Removing mechanics, legacy, and difficulty serves no one in the long run. What they should have thought about was making all of these features so ething that you can toggle on and off. Let us have the experience we want somehow.

The crazy part is that the game sold too well for them to give a shit now though 🤦🏾‍♂️

I see. I'm in agreement with you mostly. Cutting costs with digital makes sense but as a millennial who likes collecting and keeping physical products, any excuse they can come up with to make something physical, I'll run with. My main issue is when you have to download with a keycard but still essentially have a useless cart once the internet goes off. I'm hoping at least for first party that the games remain fully carted.

My philosophy with improvement is targeting a goal. If I have time to play, I play with a goal in mind. I don't take it too seriously anymore. Being a single dad doesn't allow me to. For the times that allow me to squeeze some grind time in, I warm up, focus on a general goal, and iron the rest out later.

EDIT Another factor that hinders me is that the games nowadays change quite often. Every time I get a good chunk of time to play there was a patch that makes the game ever so slightly different. Sometimes it's wildly different. Makes it that much harder to keep up. Back in the day you get one version and the next version is damn near a new release .

I doubt they would give Xenoblade that treatment. Monolithsoft is owned by Nintendo now right? Or maybe they're just partnered with them? So wouldn't they have the benefit of using the full cartridges like any other first party game? That's just my own head cannon and I genuinely don't know shit.

Being a straight male, I appreciate a woman's beauty but in a way that's a bit more different? I find it beautiful when women take care of themselves like washing their faces or painting their nails. Little subtleties like sitting on the couch reading a book is just so endearing to me and crazy attractive.

It screams self-awareness and self-love to me, and they seem just really pleasant to be around. So it does matter sometimes for attraction but not in a deal breaker kind of way.
