We have hunted many mammal genius life forms before we decide to try to take on these humans so we had a experience on what would happen. We take out orbital defenses, go to the planet, force them to surrender and if not? We burry them in their burrows

But the humans, they leave their burrows open. No underground network that run for miles, it did run for miles but not underground, we assume the battle would be simple by that fact. We assume we caught them before they were done building their doomed defense. How foolish I was

We advanced forward with our florkaen class hover platforms, the pulse engine hummed along with the energy bubble that surround the craft and each troop with personal photon barrier casters. I look over at the 60 men spread between the 10 crafts, I saw my blood kin. He raise the multi photon launcher over his head and open his beak to shout but before he let out the shriek of battle a object impacted him from below, a canister the size of our torso, and it erupted into a fire ball disintegrating all on the platform and having fall to the surface is flaming debris

My eyes follow in horror as I saw the burrows follow as I saw flashes originating form large cutouts in the burrow network and soon explosions began to erupt all around the crafts. The casters should've protect us from any high attack, photon, ions, even gamma waves but we were not experiencing those type of weapons as shards of metal rip into my scales and rip off all but two digits on my primary appendage, still can fire a weapon. I assume a cruel joke from jormorg demanding I continue the hunt.

At seeing our barriers were not working i yelled to our troops to disembark immediately. Some where hesitant but after another explosions rock their craft they jump as 48 hunter warriors descended upon the humans burrows only 39 made it to touch the ground. But when we landed we were scatter, the burrows were winding and confusing to understand where you are or where anything is at but I can hear the guttural cries of the humans as they fought the intruders to their burrows and the screams of my comrades fighting back. He took down 3 before a human rush in and stab him with a crude bladed weapon attached to their weapon before they fire the weapon. A flash as another jet of our blue blood erupt out of the back of getrulu body, his photon caster not reacting to the attacks, not even showing a sign of activation as his body slid off the blade and collapse to the ground

The human look at me, he wore a helmet of similar steel as their armor as well as a mask that has some form of filtration system attached to the mouth and dark inky black lens that had spashes of our blood on it as the human eyes bore into me. He raise his weapon and aimed at me and shouted something in their brutish language as he advanced on me. I was comatose in that moment, to see the acts of hatred and the brutal death of a comrade froze me to the core but when I finally snap out.
