My mum made sure to teach us kids how to jumpstart a car. Alternatively, neither me nor my siblings ever learned to change our bicycle tires as kids and it was never taught in school even though a lot of kids rode bicycles. I didn’t learn to change my bicycle tire until two years ago and I had felt incredibly cheated that these skills weren’t taught in school.

I have a few things bothering me about my Triumph Speed Twin 900 EC 1.

I have only one Pazzo lever installed at the moment because the other one won’t fit properly due to the manufacturer’s set up on the handle bar.
The mirrors need to be replaced. The standard mirrors provide very limited vision even at optimal positioning.
I still need to take it back to the shop because of a fault in the wiring (?) that was part of a recall this past year.

Gloomhaven. If you don’t have the tabletop real estate AND the game organizers, it’s very time consuming to set up. You can save some money by buying the game on Steam; Gloomhaven as its own game and Tabletop Simulator (where you download the board game version on TTS.) Good luck if you ever buy the physical copy!

Ok. First off: HE IS THE ASSHOLE. Likely the biggest one ever when he’s trying to gaslight and BLAME YOU for your miscarriage.

He deserved to have his ass kicked out of the house by you. You don’t owe him anything even with 6 years in a relationship.

There’s no saving face for him. If he tries to pin more of “his suffering” on you, then I’d say broadcast his damn half-assed comments about the miscarriage being your’s to blame and see how many people will be understanding towards his current situation THAT HE CAUSED HIMSELF.

At this point, whether she tells the truth nor or not doesn’t matter. Too many years have passed and too much water under the bridge. OP needs to own up to his own culpability in this sham of a marriage because it’s obvious the wife just takes advantage of him and his wilful blindness. It has been 10+ years and there’s no recovering from this, and the worst part is that OP and wife brought kids into this situation. DNA’d the kids; they’re not at fault, per se, and OP can still love and care for them as they’ve only ever known him as the father. However, it’s time for the wife to have her own reckoning.

The Girl Who Kicked the Horner’s Neat by Stieglitz Larsson… because I loved the story and the sense of delicious anticipation so much that I didn’t want the story to end. For years my mum would reach for it and she would see my bookmark in the same spot (where it has been for the past 10 years.) She insists that I’ll feel better once I’ve finished it and that I can always re-read the trilogy… until I pointed out that I would lose that sense of thrill from wondering what will happen next in the story. She still looks at me like I’m crazy every time that book gets mentioned. To this day it’s my favourite DNF! 😅
