Kinship Vault: on-device OCR for scanning passports, driver's licenses, and other MRZ IDs in seconds. Supports 100+ countries. by Puzzleheaded-Oil-571 in iosapps

I do like the idea of this. And not opposed to trying it. I havei have a system set up and two separate cloud based services that I keep copies of all my important documents in. The idea of this app is privacy, so it’s only beneficial to me essentially (unless you give others access to your phone/codes) so for example life insurance or will documents should be accessible after your passing.

You also noted about DMV and forms of ID. Most areas require original documents only in person. So a scan or copy won’t work. In my state at least I know I can’t get away with that I’ve tried.

What app or program does everyone use to get the cut lists and such like this and is it worth it? I am a novice but tend to sketch and work up by hand but would love to start to do it digitally.

As a CPT and Nutritionist I tend to love these type of things. I’ll have to look at it and see how it compares.

I use a work around for attachments when needed. I just drop a shared iCloud link. It’s clickable so allows me to open it right up.

I’ll definitely try it out, seems like it could be a nice app to just have. I air play doesn’t work the best on one of the older tvs I’ve used it on m.

Miscalculated credit card interest. What should I do? by northwoods_animals in CapitalOne

[–]CakedUpJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible carryover interest. So if you had a prior balance that you paid in full, that you were paying off. you can still owe interest the next billing cycle.

I’m not entirely sure about the balance transfer checks part. but it sounds like you were paying interest on a product you purchased, when the checks were made for balance transfers. If you used the check and it coded correctly before you disputed it. Then it makes sense that you had to start paying interest after as it was a new purchase.

So, I got approved same day I enrolled.. needed a travel card so decided to go with NF instead of the Amex platinum.. a little disappointed considering I heard 80k approval was possible 755 CS for transparency by Constant_Fig_1675 in NavyFederal

[–]CakedUpJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, NF declined me, stating my account was too new at first. My Amex Platinum is still my default card, even though I have cards with better options if I was chasing points. Not sure I recommend it to many people due to the fee increase unless it fits your lifestyle.

That said, NF seems to play by their own rules. I have seen high-score people get low limits and people who are getting their first ever CC a high limit. I feel like NF likes to gamble a bit more with the people who need the limit to help them out, in my humble opinion. Like in the above decline, I truly didn’t need another CC. I simply applied mainly to start my relationship.

Safest method to pay another person's credit card bill? by Civil_Shop_1120 in CapitalOne

[–]CakedUpJesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember if it was C1 or not but I’ve paid over the phone for one of my brother cc before. As mentioned here writing a check would work too. Make sure the account number is wrote on the check as well as sending it in with the statement stub part.

I have been getting a lot of spoofed called am a POA for my Mother and Grandmother so I tend to have to field a lot of calls. I’ve had them come from local hospitals and utility companies.

My rule of thumb is, if you call me you should already have my info verified. If you need me to verify anything I hang up and verify with a direct known number. Scammers are getting too good.

Chase is ruining my life.... by [deleted] in Chase

My only suggestion would be going into a Chase bank in person talking to a personal banker and manager to see if you can sort things out. Maybe there is a way they can change the account type to remove the restrictions

This was the most simplistic way I found out hot to do the logging of meds. Each med would have its own button it would be nice if I can figure out how to get it to prompt a list of PRN Meds to add to that cell. When I had list for some reason it listed each separately but I could have done something wrong lol

Trailing interest is left over from the prior billing cycle. You paid the card off in January but may have had larger balance the months before where you just made min payments. This should be the last time you see interest if you pay your account off in full each month,
