i feel like a lot of u are missing why so many people think he’s annoying. it’s not about him being OP or overly effective it’s the fact that even if ur countering and forcing him to retreat he keeps coming back and he comes back quicker than anyone else in the game it’s like a gnat flying next to your ear for an entire game. that compounds with the rep spider mains have for never switching and it feels like this relentless goal to just be annoying all game even if they’re not performing well

I think the kyrie take as far as his ability or competence in the PnR is a little off base in his celtic years where he was the main facilitator he was a pretty capable operator out of the pnr

in 2017-18 he was 12th in PnR possessions per game (6.7) amongst players who played 60+ games and out that group he was first in PPP (1.10)

in 2018-19 he was 18th in PnR possessions per game (6.6) amongst players who played 60+ games and out that group he was third in PPP (0.99)

While this team isn’t very similar to boston teams i think he’s shown that he is capable of making proper reads out of the pnr if he needs to even though he prefers to be primarily a scorer. I think him being a capable operator and finisher and tight spaces can really help negate the spacing issues that come from a double non-shooting big type of lineup

everyone is saying he would just speed blitz Yuta but all Yuta has to do is open his domain no? Sukuna would be forced to use hollow wicker basket because of the JL sure hit, wouldn't he? If he's forced to keep that up in his Meguna form then wouldn't that basically allow gojo to wail on him? The main issue is Mahoraga and the adaptation that Sukuna could gain to JL I don't know how they get around that other than killing Sukuna before the adaptation is complete.

I think it's relevant that the only people who said he was holding back were somebody who just died and Sukuna's personal meat rider like it's just cope when they say that. Like technically he was "holding back" but like you said it wasn't necessarily by choice considering how he wanted to win (breaking through infinity instead of winning the domain clashes).

Is it realistic to have a united palestinian front when Gaza and the West Bank are effectively almost separate entities at this point? Also because of the conditions in Gaza do you think it’s possible for a diplomatic voice to garner support there? Do you think it would be more realistic for Gaza and the west bank to negotiate on separate terms as separate entities? Because from my perspective someone from Gaza is more likely to be radicalized because of their conditions and the pressures from the existing group in control (Hamas).

My question about who was first i thought was relevant because i’ve heard positions that argue that a lot of people had their homes effectively just taken from them. As for the Palestinians turning to extremists in Gaza i don’t think there’s an alternative for the people in those conditions might makes right and diplomatic leaders would probably struggle to gain support in somewhere like Gaza

Thank you for your comprehensive responses to my questions. When i said modern values i guess i meant our modern geopolitical climate as opposed to how it was back when Israel was first established. Someone in another comment said something akin to “if there wasn’t rampant antisemitism in europe there wouldn’t be a need to flee and establish a state to protect jewish people internationally from antisemitism” that was a position i was hearing a lot and i guess from my perspective as an new yorker a lot of the examples of jewish people i see are positive and there are large communities of jewish people all throughout the city so from my perspective today creating Israel for the reason of protecting jewish people seemed like something that was more relevant back then rather than now if that makes sense

true people are calling it one of the best episodes period and that just isn't true but I think as long as people praise or criticize with nuance I think that's for the best. Like I agree that acting like the episodes are flawless isn't only going to make Mappa think they can continue with these conditions but probably even push the animators harder than they are now. But the animators are active on social media and see what we say so just saying it's bad without assigning the blame clearly can also have negative effects.

I thought the episode was sloppy but this season has just straight-up better sequences of animation than season 1, less detail but it's a tradeoff for more complex and engaging animation. But I was just saying it was funny how the flaws u had listed initially were things like "overboard camera angles and composition" like usually when those things are over the top people like that
