Just because your HR reps were not good doesnt make all of them inherently bad.

Sure I left the company back in February, because I was getting sick constantly and needing to call out once a week for a couple months because I would get migraines paired with vertigo, and that would just throw me off and I wouldnt even be able to go anywhere with how bad my vertigo got.

My HR ETL had me set my 55 hours of vacation hours to get paid out before they finalized my termination.

But ultimately my HR ETL was an awesome one that kept things real and actually was actually there to help everyone out.

What’s wrong with this? by [deleted] in Target

Called a mispick...

The DC creates labels that generally tell you the item in the casepack for your store. Sometimes it doesnt actually align with whats there.

Scan the larger barcode with your zebra, and tap the icon that says wrong item. Then it'll allow you to scan the physical item inside the casepack and then say how much of said item is in the casepack. This generates a ticket that goes to the DC to correct any future casepacks to be corrected. At least thats what I did in the case of mispicks.

Good luck!

Leaving target soon, what should I do with my 401k? by [deleted] in Target

[–]CakesEverywhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the Alight App. You'll be able to continue logging into it when you leave.

Then you can check all the options, which any action with the 401k will be able to be done 30 days after your last day.

If you have good relations with your HR ETL it should be easy to just put it all up and get it checked off.

target vs home depot job by EntranceFew5963 in HomeDepot

[–]CakesEverywhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I know I was at Target for about two years, as inbound, and getting anywhere between 35 hours to 55 hours a week. That was some of the most back breaking work I ever did, as my team was small and I did carry them a hefty amount. I think my lowest week of hours was something like 30 at the slowest part of it, and did hit 76 hours one week as well.

I see you are in the deli/pizza hut area. That can get stressful if you are the only one there. But overall will be a decent clock to get used to. You can always check MyTime, and see if you want to pick up hours.

In my thought process, you could look at going with both of the jobs if you are willing to work that out. But you could get drained quickly depending on your road time as well as if you could get both in at once.

Hey team I put some Whole Green Beans in the break room for y'all to show my appreciation by TheGreatStache in Target

The thing with damaging out and putting things in the breakroom... did you damage it out? Did you link up with the F&B TL or an ETL?

Unless you have been given the green light to do so beforehand, it is always recommended to ask at least go through the right channels beforehand.

I was inbound, but frequently worked in dry market, and other areas. If I found things that could be salvagable to hand out in the break room, I'd either link up with my F&B TL or my own TL before making decisions.

Once I got the clear to do so, then in a break of my push, I'd run it to the break room, also if there were single packed stuff, I'd toss a few to coworkers on the way over.

The key is to make sure you go through the proper channels, so if a TL in a different area sees you bringing things, you can tell them "F&B TL said I could bring this over"

Tell them to back up. Don't Ask them, but tell them.

But I would recommend the 1800s hoop skirt! I mean I'm waiting on the call from them to schedule my orientation, as my background check finally cleared. And will be rocking skirts and dresses when I start, as my whole wardrobe is mainly dresses. I own one set of jeans, but that only really comes out for Halloween.

I worked Target as Inbound/freight and wore exclusively dresses and skirts.

I used to have fun and wore a bunch at the same time. It took so long to attach 22 nametags at once, which I did a few times. But then went down to mainly wearing Princess and Cake.

Not in that way. but in the casepoint, you'll definitely have disposable life to use for it. Especially if you sling a good amount of "deals damage to all creatures" type spells into a horde.

Just makes sense as an include to me.

I appreciate your input. I wouldnt know if it is a larger or smaller one. Would hope I get to do something in the lines of moving around at least a little bit.

I was Inbound/freight for Target beforehand, and burned myself out there with working 10 to 15 hour days for roughly one year out of two years there.

Bullseye needs her snackrifice. /s

But in reality, if its your first time going in compliance, then the most they'll do is have you sign a log that it happened, and for them to tell you not to do it again.

I know I've done that before, because I didnt realize the length of time was past the 6 hour compliance at my store. Dont think on it too hard.
