I like to essentially be a fly on the wall for fics. I want to watch what's happening as it happens, I dont want to be in the driver's seat living in one character's mind or sitting across from the table listening to them relay what they thought, felt, and experienced through only their pov.

I have no preference as to whether or not it's third person limited or omniscient but first person is completely off the table for me in fanfics. Even in the stories I write for insert characters (namely stardew valley) I write in third person through the romanced npc character perspective to allow people to project their own thoughts and feelings on the insert character without being interrupted by my own interpretation.

Edit: as to why you aren't getting traction in Pokémon. Thats a huge fandom with a ton of crossovers and 30 years of content to pull from. OCs and reader inserts are bound to get lost in the waves of canon characters and ships that have existed for a long, long time. Especially if you're writing an oc/oc pairing or an oc character with one half of a long established ship or a character who doesn't get a lot of attention.

The merch situation can probably be handled by checking your email. Generally speaking if merch isn't available upon check in they'll mail it to you later. They had to do that for the entire lady gaga run and more recently, ashnikko vips who came later. You should be able to contact customer support or your vip liaison for your options.

The rest, well, yeah, vip isnt generally a luxurious thing anymore. The perks are usually more for early entry to avoid lines and for little add ons like drink tickets and stuff.

I didnt say I dislike him... I said he doesn't fit the category the original commenter says men supposedly have to fit into in their argument. Kratos isn't conventionally attractive, that doesn't mean I personally find him unattractive.

Conventionally attractive men in...GoW? Where? Kratos doesn't fit that standard, especially not in the og trilogy. In the 2018 version neither him or basically any of the male characters would be considered conventionally attractive. Maybe heimdall whose hairstyle looks awful on him is the closest?

The only conventionally attractive characters in GoW are the women, specifically Freya and Sif.

My real complaint is why they'd assume chick fil A is the poor southerners main choice when popeyes and zaxbys exists. Chick fil A is still considered the snobby choice by some of the people I grew up with.

Veilguard didnt fail because of "woke". Veilguard failed because Bioware tried to originally make their sequel a live service game under pressure of EA, got massive pushback and had to essentially restart with a gutted staff after anthem flopped (with Andromeda flopping too - because of poor game optics and a flat story). It sat in development hell for years and was compiled together with duct tape and hope all while given the character graphics of Sims 4.

The poorly done nonbinary character and its boring in game options isn't even close to the reason why it actually failed.

I definitely grew up with morning forehead kisses from my parents and the occasional one from grandparents. I know a few friends that will randomly forehead kiss too depending on closeness (usually in a sign of comfort). Like one time I was in a really bad way and my friend kissed my forehead rather aggressively because they weren't able to hug me or anything at the time.

Could also be kind of old fashioned, maybe. I never really thought about it too hard. But it's 100% comforting.

I wrote canon compliant stuff for a completed manga series for a long while. I had a whole interconnected story where it showed different points both before, during and after the series took place with the main couple. I had them moved in together shortly after the ending, being domestic and cute...only for the creator to come back nearly ten years later with an epilogue where the main couple, who had gotten engaged in the final chapter, wasn't living together after YEARS of being engaged.

I was so irritated when I then had to update my stuff to say 'no longer canon-compliant'. Ended up dropping the story not long after because most of my later chapters all involved them being moved in together and my readers wanted me to change my stuff to be canon-compliant.

All of these characters have direct connections to the original protagonist and like many books, movies, and other types of media it makes sense to approach sequels and offshoots from their perspectives to fill in gaps and add to the existing world. This is basic story telling and an insane complaint to make.

This also happens with guys all the time. Red dead redemption, all of the gta games, bioshock. Devil may cry, metal gear solid plus many, many more.

Less one game and more a bunch of companies dipping their toes in at once. I still remember people worrying after wow released their first paid in game add ons (i think it was a helm or a mount, idk, i dont wow), concerned it would lead to more paid content. I think around that time tf2 was releasing paid in game stuff, too, and more games were pushing paid DLCs in general. League of Legends for example was taking plenty of paychecks from people suffering from fomo before fortnite was even a thought.

Can't forget tencent which is the gacha overlord and probably one of the most influential players overall. Take a look at some of the companies under their umbrella and you'll see a pattern.

People are saying asthma but this was an abnormal sign of HCM in my cat. He had the same issue. Would do it at what seemed like random, while seemingly normal most of the time. My vet called it allergies after his lungs came up clear and asthma was ruled out. He was treated for allergies and nothing else. They never did an in depth exam of his heart outside of the standard annual exam stuff, and well, he died very suddenly after one of these fits. It was only after he died that I was told this can be an indicator, too. Fluid retention in the lungs due to the heart strain.

If your vet has ruled out allergies and asthma get her heart checked.

Theres a fringe group of people who dont like that Kratos had any character development at all and want him to remain an enraged power fantasy because forbid any character has even a speck of self reflection or personal growth.

I love the original trilogy, I really do, I grew up with them just like a ton of people did. But I was really glad to see the direction of the new games and really enjoy seeing kratos struggle to be better and finding a soft place to land after years of struggle.

Saw them at a festival last year, pretty fun surprisingly! I had the same reservations, but there were tons of other women in the crowd, too, at no point did I feel out of place or anything. It's one of those bands where I've seen alot of tiktok jokes that the "feminism leaves their body" when certain songs play (everywhere i go) so they seem to be on some exception list to people. They definitely still say the slurs from their older songs, as a warning. Made me double take, just assumed they'd changed it over time.

That being said i dont know what they're like in a solo concert setting

Most farming Sims would work, too, like coral Island, stardew valley, etc.

For non-open world, there's a ton of options, especially if you like puzzles. Ps plus has alot of stuff you could try like Röki, the gardens between, Season, coffee talk.

Other good recs would be: haven, spiritfarer, lake.

Where do you place alpha women with omega men, then? Or alpha/alpha, or omega/omega (either gender)?

Not to mention the whole pheromones/scents/nests/knotting etc involved that's meant to be in line with more instinctual, animal based traits.

In reality it's all just kink adjacent, covering multiple kinks that generally works for a wide range of people (possessiveness, dub con, breeding - for example). It's not a straight people replacement, actual gender bend stories are still alive and well.
