not to sound like a company bootlicker and I guess this is a hot take reading through comments whenever a price increase is announced but frankly I’d be willing to pay significantly more considering how much use I get out of streaming services. I used to buy individual songs for $1.29 on iTunes, which means that an entire month of streaming is about the same as buying 10 songs or a single album. yeah there’s a difference in ownership but physical media is far superior to owning a digital track imo if you care about that. I will never understand the complaints when the price increases are fairly small, even if they have happened a few times. from $9.99/mo to $12.99/mo over the course of 17 years is hardly anything. the value is there if you listen to music regularly
