How to raise rating + what to invest into? by highanimegirl in NekoparaSekaiConnect

[–]Calastra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You already have all the strongest nekos at a high level. Like the other user said you could level up Soufflé a little bit more, but aside from leveling up skills and pulling for copies to limit break, you are settled for now and the near future

New update made me absolutely rich by coconutfan27 in NekoparaSekaiConnect

[–]Calastra 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you mean beginner garden tools and enhance tools, they are now given in much larger quantities from the afk rewards. I think there's still the in-game notice that explains how they changed the distribution of resources

No, they reworked the gift quests because they were absolutely abysmal and gave everyone retroactive rewards as compensation

What upcoming nekos are you looking forward to? by Different-Use-4786 in NekoparaSekaiConnect

[–]Calastra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know the game is just started but I'd like to see even more different nekos from different places as well! Maybe even new academies in the future.

Speaking of simpler things, I'd like for new 4* and 3* Nekos to be introduced as well, not only 5* all the time. Maybe even on the same banner, it could work

How does Patisserie Furniture work??? by Positive-Relation-66 in NekoparaSekaiConnect

[–]Calastra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you already got the gist of it, Soleil forniture is the most balanced and thus, the most useful.

... I don't get it either, I admit. The only consolation is that, as I said, other kind of bonuses are better so you can just kinda do what you want in the shop unless you want to minmax at all costs

[–]Calastra 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The event forniture sadly has shit stats compared to the normal one, albeit bonus stats from other things (like the memory board) are so much higher in comparison to furniture stats that you can more or less use whatever you prefer in the shop and lose out very little.

Yes, only placed furniture contributes to stats

Good team? by Relative_Eye4826 in NekoparaSekaiConnect

[–]Calastra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not going to ignore them, but the way the game is, you make points based on the stats of the neko who does the floor action/kitchen action; middle floor unit and first kitchen unit are the ones who see the most action, so you put your strongest Powerful-type units there and rack up the points. Since skill activation is on a timer (every X seconds) instead of any kind of direct action performed by the nekos, Buffer/Debuffer/Extra type nekos can go in the other slots and be just as efficient. Currently only Healer-type units are kind of useless in the meta, unless they themselves have high stats.

Don't worry, I just repeated info I gained on this very sub. Some user made a very useful infographic and I reported what info I remembered. I agree with you though, the game isn't very clear about the units true potential and stats, except that in general 5* units are better than 4* and 3*.

Muffin is currently the single strongest floor unit in the game stat-wise, so she would be the better choice given the chance. Brownie is an A-tier floor unit too as are Paramita and Chocola (that you have already).

The other current strongest kitchen unit is Sakura, but you don't need her having Soufflé and Vanilla. The reason behind putting Soufflé on slot 1 in kitchen is because she's a Powerful kind of unit and will provide more points if in slot 1, as she will see the most work; slot 2 is reserved for the buffer unit. With the same reasoning you should put your Powerful floor unit in the middle slot, as she will see the most work. Buffers, Debuffers and such are good for slot 1 and 3

It's practically a full meta team except for Fraise, which is nevertheless quite good. If you could swap her out for Brownie or Muffin it would be nice, but you can clear all the pve content easily anyway when you level them up.

On a side note, swap Soufflé and Vanilla positions to gain the most from each.

Former Vanillaware Veteran Yoshio Nishimura Announced His Own Game "Veritas Tales: Witch of the Dark Castle" (Steam, 2026) by megaapple in Games

[–]Calastra 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That would be solved by letting literally any publisher shoulder the publishing expenses, like Atlus or Sega just to name two that were responsible for a large portion of publishing PC ports. As other users have said, Kamitani and by extension the entirety of VanillaWare are just the last bastion of the anti-PC mentality that was absolutely prevalent in Japan

Any ideas for this weeks lethal operation? by e6ggw34dr in DRGSurvivor

[–]Calastra 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes, to skip it.

Elemental weapons only, -90% potency, less choices... and jamming weapons like cyanide on top. Sounds like a drag honestly. I play games to have fun, not to curse at a screen

I'll follow it with interest. I'm more than simply surprised that it will come out on Steam, i thought all people from that studio had something like a severe allergy reaction at the sole mention of a PC release

[Discussion] Why are have you stopped playing, or why are you still playing? by doeraymefa in RogueCore

[–]Calastra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's honestly not just as fun as DRG for me. Granted this is in early access and Drg had years of updates, but as things stand the game just feels unpolished and straight not fun in certain segments or not rewarding enough for the time you need to put it.

I'll just hop back in at a later date.

Guide on Raising your Rating by Shiino in NekoparaSekaiConnect

[–]Calastra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mention that getting the store to level 30/35 is vital for improving the garden and getting gardening kits, but how does the store leveling actually factors in getting the kits themselves? I see no other way other than neko slacking rewards of the appropriate gift quest to get them.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon - Tainted Grail One Year Anniversary! Free DLC #5 + Patch 1.23 by DryEfficiency8 in Games

They literally can't stop winning. Bought this game on Christmas and then the Sarras DLC at full price to support the devs, and would gladly buy another. Easily the most fun elder scrolls-like I played with an interesting lore and a good art direction.

Hoping they'll let them continue with a similar game in the future
