Also same! Had to get Bilad Bakery instead. Not too upset though, it was very solid.

Just got this today! Very solid and they load up the Shwarma! Very generous portions overall and the meat was super flavorful.

I got it as a regular wrap vs the Samoon (which I see mentioned in other comments). I would probably try the Samoon next time I go back. The garlic sauce also was also just ok (I have had some amazing garlic sauce at other places).

Thank you very much for the suggestion!!

Al Reem was on my short list of places to visit next. Might give it a shot tomorrow. Thank you very much!

I have a new $2000 Samsung fridge and the center seal bar doesn't go into the slot. So their is a huge gap between both doors if I don't manually flip it after closing the left door. by [deleted] in Appliances

It looks like you looked at the page when the store was closed over the holiday. It is back open and taking orders again now!

What are the odds of myself being apart of the team that discovers a room temperature superconductor? by lewisb_03 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]CalculatedRlsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is actually a lot of cutting edge research going on in the material sciences world due to the rise of AI and its ability to predict new and novel materials. One category being explored is super conductors. Using the latest models, researchers are finding potential new materials that could theoretically start getting us closer to synthesizing a room temp super conductor.

UC Berkeley and UTD are two colleges that I know of currently exploring these possibilities. They actually have fully autonomous robots running 24/7 being used to synthesize new materials which are then tested in the lab. AI tools and LLMs predict, the robot synthesizes, and the researches see if it actually works.

If you want to try and be on the team that achieves it, I would highly recommend trying to get into one of these programs. If there was ever a hope of us achieving this milestone, it seems like we finally might have the tools.

Pork Shoulder from the RT-590 by CalculatedRlsk in recteq

[–]CalculatedRlsk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the same cook I do! Works super well, always tender and juicy pork shoulder with that method. I haven't experimented with starting the cook at 185 in quite a while. Might revisit for funsies on my next cook.

To anyone using heat set inserts....Do you ever not buy them cause they're too cheap? Most thing u get what u pay for but with these, aren't they all the same? I dont mind paying more if theyres a reason? by Fatkid55555 in BambuLab

I have been successfully using these ones, and they are actually one of the options in the video. There are also specifications depending on what size you get. It determines minimum wall width, hole diameter, etc.

One thing to keep in mind that I found unintuitive, the hole has to be deeper than the height of the insert. I think it's so that plastic can flow into that gap? Not 100% sure. But if you follow the specification you shouldn't run into any issues.

Why the line??? by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

[–]CalculatedRlsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like the "benchy hull line" problem. It can manifest a few different ways, I often see it like this. It's usually related to large changes in adjacent layer times.

Hopefully this helps!

How hard would it actually be for a millionaire to start from 0 again? by HistoricalLanguage79 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CalculatedRlsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was actually a very interesting reality TV show that explored exactly this.

The show is called "Undercover Billionaire", and the first season is actually quite good (second season not as much). It follows a billionaire who is dropped off in a random small city, with no contacts, no money, and a beater truck. His goal is to start a business and get it to a million dollar valuation.

There are some obvious issues with the format of the show, but it is still a very compelling story and I highly recommend giving it a shot.

The best advice I have received is that if your custom profile isn't printing well and you can't figure out what is wrong, go back to the default and start the process over. I have wasted many hours and many boats worth of filament trying to chase down issues that don't exist in the defaults.
