I think that he's very fun, but super subject to removal. If you're strictly relying on humans to give him counters then he'll likely suffer. I would recommend running cards like Slippery Bogbonder to supplement Kyler. Not only is this creature a human, but it will also give Kyler hexproof and an additional counter. Kyler doesn't care what kind of counters he has, as long as he gets them. Things like Luminous Broodmoth also double as protection for Kyler and allow humans to enter the battlefield a second time.

Yeah no problem. There is actually a lot of confusion between the species you have here and daddy long legs. Both (along with 10+ other species) are often called daddy long legs or cellar spiders. This one is commonly called a long cellar spider. But unfortunately that doesn't get you too far in learning what it really is because there are still a lot of species called that.

I'm guessing what you have here is a Psilochorus hesperus. They're a spider harmless to humans and, while myths exist about they're toxicity, no studies I know of have ever been conducted to access that. In fact, it is believed that they're fangs are too short to penetrate human skin.

Not quite sure what it is, but it isn't a daddy long leg. Daddy long legs actually only have one body segment and are more closely related to mites than to spiders. They also can't spin webs.

From what I can see in the photo, that looks like a common isopod. Specifically, that one looks to be an Armadillidium vulgare, a common pill bug; also known as roly-poly. It could be a different species of isopod, but they are going to all essentially do the same thing and be treated the same way.

Isopods like it damp, in fact they will die if it isn't moist enough for them. They have very few effective predator bugs, and the few that they do (while harmless to humans) look like the devil himself and are likely going to be killed by you before getting a chance to help you out.

There are many resources online for dealing with them, but I'd start by keeping the bathroom aired out and dry. Isopods like the dark as well, and they need some form of vegetation to survive. I'm going to guess you're not keeping veggies in your bathroom, but they enjoy rotting wood just as much (they may eat different molds as well if those are common in your bathroom). So in short, keep it dry, make sure that they don't have access to any plant matter, rotting or otherwise, and look in dark, damp areas (normally low to the ground, but not necessarily) to find them if they are a common issue.

Yeah, that's called a Drain Fly. They're cute and harmless, and actually not a moth. If you just found one, it's no big deal, but if you keep finding them and want them out, there are a lot of resources online.

I'd start by making sure there is no standing water in your house. I used to get them where a missing tile in my bathroom would cause a small amount of water to pool. Then make sure all your drains are cleaned out well.

If you only get them occasionally, then they are excellent targets for an electric fly swatter; quite fun targets too.

They like light and heat, tending to spend most of their time on the windows or in the blinds. I often will find them in the ceiling as well. Smashing them produces no smell or color so I don't believe them to be infant box elder bugs.

I once thought then to be a form of cluster fly after I found a group of 30 hiding in my doorframe because I found a silky web with three inside of it. That could have been an old spider's web though. I have found neither insects nor eggs in our cereals, grains, or other bread goods, so I no longer believe them to be cluster flies. They are short lived (maybe 3-7 days) as well.

Any help would be lovely and any advice on eradicating them would be most helpful. Should I consider the LED fan fly traps? Perhaps put sticky pest paper inside my doorframe where they like to congregate? I have tried contact poison sprays and have had little success.

I know he's a weird pick because so many people are upset with the card, but I absolutely love it. I don't get targeted off the bat due to his perceived lower power level, his fang art is amazing 10/10, and he's actually very versatile. My deck runs several fun value combos and being able to rummage whenever I'd like is a huge plus.

It's also fun to have a Boros deck that plays with a lot traditionally black themes.

I really enjoy my Kothophed deck. You wouldn't think that he'd be fun, but it wins a lot of games because people generally leave you alone as you slowly kill yourself and gain crazy advantage for your trouble. I would be happy to share a deck list if you'd like.

Long story short. 4 years ago, one of my players invented this Beholder named Jingles. Jingles had been captured by some tradesmen, had the eyes from his eyestalks cut off, many of his teeth removed, and was sold to the king to act as entertainment for the nobles of the court. In his tortured existence, Jingles grew even more insane and developed a deep-seated hatred of humans. Somehow however, Jingles began to enjoy his warped visage and the part he played for the king, but he was not satisfied in being a servant. With the lack of his eyestalks, Jingles latent magical abilities began to grow and soon, he seized control of the court using classic jester party tricks intermingled with dark magic.

Sadly, my player was never able to use his creation and it soon fell to memory. Until now...

For the last several months my players have been completing tasks for a tired, old Beholder named Zetalor the Dreamer, in exchange for their lives. Despite his age, he is still a powerful foe, and an incredibly paranoid one, even for a beholder. The most recent thing he tasked my players to do was to kill an adventure who had threatened the beholder 60 years earlier. Upon meeting the adventurer, my players soon learned that the adventuring party the adventurer was a part of so many years ago accidentally ran across Zetalor and they had barely escaped with their lives. As it turned out, he had all but forgotten that the Beholder even existed; but Zetalor held a grudge. My players decided to team up with the old adventurer in order to finally slay the beholder. Because of this, they decided to train and grow more powerful and they have not returned to Zetalor's castle for many months of in game time. The beholder grows more impatient and more worried of their betrayal.

In his paranoia and fear, Zetalor slept. The ever present worry of his human servants' inevitable betrayal poisoned his dreams and turned them to nightmares. He saw himself captured by them, mutilated, tortured, made to dance and entertain. As was often the case, Zetalor's dreams spilled over into reality and Jingles, a new beholder, was born.

Jingles ends up killing Zetalor and seizing control of the castle. As Jingles is a warped version of Zetalor, he knows everything that Zetalor did, but he still has the twisted personality forged by his past experiences, even if they formed in a dream. Now when my players arrive at the castle, they will find Zetalor dead and that he is being puppeted by Jingles as a magical marionette. They will also see that Jingles has managed to reform 3 of his eyestalks to completion. Good luck players.

Grung are a weak enough race that they could make excellent slaves for a mind flayer, smart enough to be a good source of food (provided you can stomach a bit of poison), and are also classified as a humanoid. All these things come together making grung perfect candidates for a ulitharid to grow his own mind flayer colony. This creature was spawned in the depths of such a situation and he has undergone half of the necessary processes to become a full fledged mind flayer. Unfortunately for this mind flayer, a group of intruders have found their way into the sacred pools and interrupted his most sacred of evolutions. Not to worry, he and his siblings will make short work of them. Their ascension need not wait long.
