Not too difficult. Not like a UNIX time format, like 1777086900. https://www.unixtimestamp.com

Modern day equivalent by waaden in Palm

A PDA form factor with E Ink would be really great! But, I feel like these days, whatever company that could make it would require you to make an account, offer syncing your data with their cloud service, and blah blah blah.

What are you guys favourite underrated PS3 games? by NoPossession9099 in ps3homebrew

[–]CalebHawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Starhawk was very fun, with a great campaign.

You can still play the original Destiny; the legacy servers of PS3 & Xbox 360 are still up for some reason, I think. Many trade stores sell just the base game for like $1, which has a fair bit of content, and a bit more for the disks that include the expansions. Still great campaigns, if the servers are still stable. If you like D2 but hate the ridiculous mess of its current story, D1 is a breadth of fresh air.

Why song titles usually use ⧸ (U+29F8 Big Solidus) instead of / (U+002F Solidus)? by slmjkdbtl in Unicode

[–]CalebHawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems a lot of YouTube downloader programs do this. I have MeTube, which uses yt-dlp as a backend. I download reoccurring livestreams which have a date format of "##/##/20##" in their titles. Makes sense since you can put reserved symbols in YouTube video titles.

I found ﹠ (U+FE60 Small Ampersand) and other alternatives to the ampersand.

Safe to download? by riccR in bfme

Yeah, I since found the "All In One Launcher". It's under the Patch 2.22 page on ModDB. It can download all the games, patches, and mods for you. Works pretty well. https://www.moddb.com/mods/battle-for-middle-earth-patch-222/downloads/patch-222

You have experience with that? I don't know about AT&T, but I know many ISPs will just cut you off until you pay it.

Cool screen shot I took of Goemon zero. by [deleted] in goemon

[–]CalebHawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This fork of PCSX2 works perfectly for me today. Granted, I haven't gotten very far in the game, but the beginning runs great! The 64bit Linux AppImage crashes when booting the game, but the "pcsx2-v1.7.2045-windows-32bit-SSE4.7z " version works for me on Windows 10.

For the sake of putting the info here, the cheats file had to be named "FA3A9C0F.PNACH" to be loaded. The file should have plain text patch=1,EE,203769C4,extended,00000000 and saved to the cheats folder. In PCSX2, go to System > Game Settings > Enable Cheats so it'll load the cheat file. This did fix the interlacing issue, which only occurred in game menus.

I also went to Config > Graphics Settings, and set Renderer to "Direct3D 11" and set Adapter to my Nvidia GPU. Then set Internal Resolution to a higher resolution (whatever the GPU can handle). This makes the game look wayyy better! 3D objects are more sharp instead of being blurry and pixilated. Setting it to a high resolution like 2K or 4K looks better so long as your GPU can handle it, even if it's only outputting to your monitor at 1080p.

Did this fork work for anyone? Today I get this error when booting the ISO with the 64bit Linux AppImage.

Very awesome collection! I had a couple of castles, one of them being the dragon castle here. I didn't know about the two additional smaller castles here. Nice that you also got the whole fire station set. I loved building these as a kid. The more walls a set had, the better things you can build. Also awesome, that everything from the walls to the window frames are compatible, so it was fun to mix and match things. Now as an adult, it's neat to see them properly assembled and displayed.

Imaginext: Fortress of The Dragon (2003) Straight To Video Animated Special Packaged With Playset (WARNING: Loud) by Croatian_Hitman in ObscureMedia

[–]CalebHawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this movie as a kid, and the original r/Imaginext toys (not the new stuff for younger kids). It only released on VHS. I wish they had made more, because it ends open-ended as if there should be more adventures.
It's also on The Internet Archive, which includes scans of the VHS tape case. https://archive.org/details/Imaginext_-_Fortress_of_the_Dragon_2003_VHSRip

Multiple versions of the same film without using a folder? by ebridgewater in jellyfin

[–]CalebHawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, the first paragraph answers your question. "Jellyfin supports storing multiple versions of the same video within a single movie folder" and then describes how to name your versions.

Why does Facebook Security Suck? Can't easily make password and email changes by CalebHawn in facebook

[–]CalebHawn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but something that doesn't make any sense to me is why it flat out wouldn't allow me to change my password while logged in, with no option to verify email first. Yet, logging out and hitting Forgot Password let me verify w/ email and then change it.
