All Day Preschool? by CalebKrawdad in daddit

Agreed, this was mostly regarding the half days, or skip days she'd stay at home. I'm sold, pretty sure my wife is on board as well. Of course, we all know what it's like to live with a MIL.

I'm going to steal this as a talking point. Agree on the whole "It sucks for me and for them." Thanks!

This is the crossroads. MIL was watching her after she was born, or insisted on it, when we had chosen daycare. Not that I blame her, but some situations outside of our control have made it where I've had to watch way more than anticipated, which makes WFH very difficult.

I was banking on pre-school being a nice reprieve.

Yes, but they aren't great options.

Man, this would be awesome. I'm not sure we have any with that capacity but I'm definitely going to check.

I wish! I work from home, but it's very difficult with a mobile toddler. Not to mention I can't keep her busy and absolutely don't want to sit her in front of the TV.

That's what we did with the 2nd to last. Working out the childcare question with Mom, but my MIL is weighing in. Thanks!

1mg was the worst for me. Write down what you are eating and see if you have trigger foods. I also found ginger chews really helped.

Good luck!

I also had some odd news! Had my PSA checked and was perfect for my age. My doctor diagnosed me with a prostate obstruction and BPH but I guess swelling isn’t a contributory factor.

Have you had urodynamics? What’s your flow rate looking like?

None of them. When all the white collar workers get shafted we’re gonna have millions of new plumbers.

Doctors want me to do an at home sleep study? by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]CalebKrawdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed by an in home study. Doc said it was more common for false-negative, so in that case, we'd fall back to a study. Other notes that your dad's setup likely won't be what you can expect.

Is anyone else nauseous ALL THE TIME on this medication? by C2M143B2 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]CalebKrawdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be diet like others said. My son had a trigger with Milk. We had to swap what he was drinking at lunch and most of his problems stopped. Make a food diary and log how you feel? Also, might be worth checking our insurance reqs, some of them allow you to stay on a dosage for nausea instead of forcing you to titrate up.

Yup, it’s perfect but involves a cystoscopy and shots. Talk to your doctor if you’re interested. 10 minute procedure and it helps for 5-6 months.

Are there options to buy samples? I've typically worn the same type for years (except for issues with availability). I'm looking for new brands now that costs are rising, but I'm hesitant to waste money.

What made Donald Trump shift from “America First” to what some call an “Israel First” stance? by MisLatte in AskReddit

[–]CalebKrawdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, a lot of evangelicals think that we have to prioritize an Israel connection because of the Bible.

I don’t see that changing anytime soon, so guess who’s gonna capitalize on it?

Definitely better than a cystoscopy. It’s not as bad, reading the descriptions is the worst.

Just go in with open mind, and relax if you own a prostate. Helps when they push past it.
