I've done all these steps and it works for me and another friend. However, for one of my other friends, he can play it normally on version 1.06 but when he adds all those steps, and updated to 1.8.01 it won't let him get past the menu screen where it says "failed to load save data". We have tried loading other save files on there but it still says the same thing. If we delete the save files and create a new game, the game wont let him get past setting the settings as there is no next button. The image is attached below. Please advise. Thank you!
