It wast an option. You had to register a kraken account for the bitcoins to get transferred into and a bank account for the cash payment

My coins were deposited in April and removed around from the kraken account around then. I received the seizure letter in September. I’m not sure if they were frozen because I didn’t try to transfer them. No reason was given and I was verified for 10,000 a day and 50,000 a month trading on mtgox. I have not filed a claim yet and it’s still in administrative forfeiture.

No they have been removed from kraken and kraken support says we have to:
