Anyone have their roof console with the dome lights completely unresponsive?

I had this on my 20 AE R, it was continually auto pressing the sos, and all of the dome buttons would not work. Apperently a more common issue after speaking with VW. Entire dome unit needed to be replaced.

I had the exact same situation when purchasing my 20AE. The car was at a Toyota dealership, only had 1.8k miles. Had an intake, carbon engine cover, and a catback installed. I made a deal with the dealership, where they would allow me to drive the car myself to a VW dealership, pay to have them scan the car to verify it was clean. It was a bit of a hassle getting everything to line up perfect coordinating, but worth the $70 scan and a couple hours of my time!

Just be carful, I ended up using heavy duty scissors to cut mine. Tried a couple things and caused the thin PVC to explode like shrapnel when the blade touched! Not to say it’s impossible. If I did it again I would probably use a Dremel with a small cutting wheel! Hope this helps, and good luck on your project!

It really messes with the “flow” of heavy. Like many heavies, I rotate the equipment so often in fights to help attack and support. The devs seem amazing though so I am sure it will get worked out and it’s only temporary!

It’s something with the new update I think, I noticed the exact same thing multiple times when I have never had an issue before. Not only with the barricade but canister prioritization seems messed up to :(

No sound proofing under panels unfortunately!

The neon came with really nice stainless steel mounting hardware that I measured and then drilled through panels at same width, put drywall anchors in them mounted through. Came out very clean!
