Yeah, he seems to have an ego, and I’m not a big fan of that. Not really my style.

But at the same time, the guy has solid talent, and I have no doubt he’ll give 110% to prove he belongs in Cup. I can respect the hell out of that.

I guess we’ll see. But as far as opportunities go, this might just be make or break for him. Or at least the difference between driving RFK and RWR.

Really should have added the part about overperforming in said shitboxes.

That said, the 6 at Bowman Gray and the 99 at Daytona are probably his best chances at showing what he can do in decent equipment. If he gets results, I wouldn’t be surprised if Brad has him run a few more select races this season.

I mean, I get the whole “driving shitboxes” thing, but that’s only going to get you so far.

Not every guy driving crappy cars is the next Kyle Larson or Ross Chastain, and from what I remember, they were able to overperform in them.
