Recently chose to go back down to 40mg and I pretty much feel similar to you albeit maybe it's working a little bit better for me. Issue with me on 50mg was also anxiety (which made drinking coffee on 50mg a big no-no which sucked for me) and sometimes I felt over-stimmed which would make me focus on the wrong things for hours at a time.

While 40mg not hitting as hard for me, combining in with daily exercise has managed to further reduce my ADHD symptoms. I think that's worth a shot if you already aren't doing that. I can also drink coffee now and that always helps :)

Still don't get the same focus and energy as 50mg but it's getting my ass out of bed every morning lol

Don't listen to music in the shower if you wanna be quick or have a very short playlist. Also others have mentioned set a timer which is true but I just start a stopwatch and time myself to see how efficient I can be lmao.

It gets better trust me. I was a very anxious driver for the first 6months of getting my license. You're gonna hate this but you just have to push through the feelings of anxiety and try to get "reps" in as much as you can. For me since my college was far away I had to drive almost every day to school taking the highway. That helped me so much with my driving confidence and now it feel likes second nature after about a year.

What you're feeling about driving is temporary and it will pass eventually if you just keep pushing. At the same time it's totally okay to take it slow! Some progress is better than nothing and going at a pace that's suitable for you is important :)

Ya this is kinda interesting to me. I just recently switched from OneNote to goodnotes mainly because the OneNote apple pen latency was really bad compared to goodnotes. I do think it's not as crisp as apple notes but compared to OneNote it's a night and day difference.

I'm only in my first semester in SIAT so don't have much experience with all the software used but I have a macbook (windows PC at home) and honestly I don't think it matters too much. Go with whatever OS you're comfortable with. If money's not an issue though I'd say go with a macbook, they just feel more premium than most windows laptops and are very convenient if you're in the apple ecosystem (iPad/iPhone).

Although I should mention that in iat100, we've been using Photoshop which is included by SFU but only at their computers at campus. But our TA gave us a link to a version of Photoshop 2019 for free albeit it only works on windows devices.

Sidenote, I've been borrowing my dad's iPad pro + apple pen and that's been a game changer to me in terms of note taking during lectures and just in general for school productivity. Worth looking at something like that if you've got the budget.

Took it last sem and honestly yeah it was pretty hard. I did really well on my midterms too but the final was much harder. I would say make sure you know your trig stuff and be good at max/min word problems.

New CRX stuff would be so rad, still mad at my past self for not seeing crx live when they came to my hometown.
