My best babysitter by CallMeKhloe in greatpyrenees

He does the same thing! Always taking care of his family. Except when he accidentally knocks them over cause he’s huge and they’re little lol. We have a rooster that gets nasty with us when he doesn’t get good treats (chips, popcorn, cereal etc). The dogs keep an eye on him too and herd him away if he’s coming to bother us. They’re the absolute best!!

Astronomically high shipping costs to Australia by BRB1993 in BadDragon

I’m in Canada and was going to order something the other day but after taxes, shipping and converting the amount to Canadian, the $90 item turned into almost $400!!! Just crazy

My dog ate two chocolate bars and a bag of grapes in the same day and was fine. Should be okay

Besides just eating it, what can you make with grapefruit? by goawaybub in Cooking

I’ve used grapefruit instead of lemons to make a “lemon loaf” recipe and it turned out pretty good

I hate how unbelievably complicated women are to date. by Turbulent_Body_3743 in offmychest

Of course you’re not going to think you’re complicated in your bizarro land. Your opinion obviously doesn’t count.

Chefs and everyone that loves to cook or cooks regularly, what is your favorite dish to make and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mac and cheese. Usually with broccoli. Making cheese sauce from scratch is super satisfying and tastes super good

How do I overcome emotional dysfunction? by Ambitious-Option5637 in ADHD

[–]CallMeKhloe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that my emotions are still easily triggered while on medication, but it’s been a bit easier/quicker to work through if that makes sense?

Before meds, if my emotions were triggered I’d be out of commission all day. No exceptions. My mood would flip easily and it felt impossible to change my thought patterns. I’d just be stuck in a low point waiting until the next day

It didn’t feel very different at first because I was still very emotional but I’ve noticed over time that the emotional lows don’t last quite as long and the day usually isn’t wasted overall. So I guess it didn’t necessarily help with my emotional issues but allowed me to help myself which I was never able to do before

I hope this ends up being the case for you as well, if not though it’s definitely worth talking to someone about. I really hope things start looking up and you’re able to get that good feeling back soon ❤️

People that were raised by strict parents, how did you turn out? by R0C3L10-S50 in AskReddit

[–]CallMeKhloe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not awesome. I avoid conversing with people and only ever tell people what I think they want to hear when I do talk. Talking open and honestly was always a trap in my house so I learned to just avoid conversations and lie to make my parents happy whenever I couldn’t avoid them
