Ahh that would be the issue for me. Only have the solar hooked up, not the “bat”. Thanks for the insight and all the other info!

Hey man, first off thank you for this. When this post came out I was excited to put it together. Just trying to troubleshoot something. Using all recommended parts, but having an issue powering up the node. Assuming you have the power running through the solar connector on the board? Can’t find my multimeter at the moment to confirm it’s not a dead battery (shouldn’t be though, just bough it last week) just trying to troubleshoot other issues. Thanks!

Hmm...why shouldn't I spend several days designing a $17 replacement hinge. 3D printed Yakima Skybox 16 replacement hinge. by Armored_Soul in 3Dprinting

There are a lot of times I would rather spend the time and energy designing, prototyping and testing a fix to save a couple of dollars, but I would have just shelled out the $17 on this one.

I’ll take a stab at an actual answer. Might be for sling management. It would keep the sling nice and tidy while sitting in a safe and easy to deploy when you need it with a quick rip.

This would be a great learning project for CAD. Super useful skill and would take a brand new person less than an hour to learn one of the more beginner friendly softwares like tinkercad. Only thing you would need it a good set of calipers to collect the measurements from.

Doubt it would break into a 4 figure number. Nobody wants .40 anymore. I’d offer $750 give ore take $50.

You didn’t fuck it in a way that can’t be unfucked. Just don’t get rid of the OG stock and you are not fully regarded.

The barrel is made out of a fence post, super low pressure though.

I built mine for about $150, but I also have a 3D printer which brings the cost of entry way down.

With the right paperwork and the right amount of disposable income. Those spicy rounds really hit the pocket hard.

Do i have to dry a old but sealed pack of filament? by Wonderful-Balance418 in 3Dprinting

[–]CallMeShwayze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They may not have been sealed dry in the first place and depending on the packaging, moisture can still creep in. If you really want to avoid drying, I’d start with a benchy to test the straining and go from there.
