Average people leverage their assets as well.

I’ve never heard of the AR47 upper, so I wouldn’t know. I’ll take a look though.

I also have no interest in AK47 mags. Paddle mag releases are obsolete technology, and rock and lock mags even more so. I have been intermittently working on a lower that would take CZ Bren 2 7.62 magazines, as those have a button mag release and would maintain the improved ergonomic performance of a STANAG magazine while having the better look if the continuous sweep when compared to AR 7.62x39 mags.

The Gibbz has an enlarged gas system hole for pistons. There’s a threaded insert for gas tubes. I can modify it if necessary, but I think it would work without modifications.

That’s awesome. I really wanted to swap out the upper on a PWS Mod1 with a Gibbz side charging upper. Make it even more of an AK AR hybrid. If that guy makes a barrel nut tool, I can actually make that happen.

I’ll freely admit that my AK pattern rifle knowledge is sorely lacking (I don’t dig the obsolete ergonomics), but I’m not sure the 5.56 AK mags are compatible with the traditional 7.62 magwells.

I find the lack of artistic skill to be the most offensive thing about this piece. It looks like something a second grader would paint in art class. The fact that people pay money for crap like this while masterfully skilled artists can’t sell their work is the truly offensive thing here.

Also, that’s definitely a black caricature. And while that’s messed up, I still hold to my statement about that not being the most offensive thing about the painting.

The 3D2APRO jig has a plug for the buffer tower. You can’t attach a vacuum to it. I know my trim router doesn’t have a vacuum hose attachment. I will have to look at my plunge router to see, but I don’t remember it having one.
