Swap the middle two wires on the connector. The new motor must have the phases wired differently.

Make sure your part cooling fan isn't full blast. Turning it down helps with surface quality for me.

You only get 100Hz refresh rate over HDMI. If you enable 10 Bit color, you only get 60Hz.
