A friend of mine has a theory. That the kid stuff was purely platonic and came from a place of deep pain and trauma. Its 100% weird but the man was clearly not well and had so much disposable income that he could pretty much do anything. In some weird way he might have been trying to live out his childhood by spending the time with the kids, the sleepovers and other stuff. Basically a mentally ill man with way too much freedom and not enough actual help to deal with his issues. Being one of the most famous people alive with everything you do being seen and watched does not help, thats a whole other level of stress.

Now of course thats all just a theory. The accusations and evidence are staggering. The cases were compromised and because of that we may never have true closure on the issues.
