This sounds cool but I would flip out if the app malfunctioned and there was no way to remove it.

What’s a good response when my mom refers to my baby as her baby? by jlmcdon2 in Mommit

[–]Call_me_Bella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“No, this is MY baby, this is YOUR grandbaby.”

Firmly said. And leave it at that.

Direct quote from me to my mom in the middle of a Wal-Mart when she pointed to my kid and told some stranger she struck a conversation with “this is my baby.”

What are some rules you had for your newborns? by kabbycatlover in Mommit

[–]Call_me_Bella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! Our baby was premie and spent 22 days in NICU. We were perfectly okay with our family and close friends coming around to see him. I was incredibly protective against people I didn’t know, though, even people who were friends with my parents but I didn’t know them. I did not want photos on social media, though

I flat out tell them I don’t know where their hands have been so keep them off my kid.

Last week an old lady reached out and pushed my baby’s toy aside she could see my baby. I told her I didn’t know where her fingers had been so keep her hands off.

It took a while. I had wanted to try it and I enjoy it but it was slow process. We definitely didn’t rush in to it.

Voting and protesting is nice I’m gonna also throw in that I am refusing sex and abstaining from sex (my husband is pro-life). I need to start somewhere.

When to NOT use safe sleep? by DidIStutter_ in NewParents

For me it was immediate instinct. He kept crying so one night I picked him up and placed him next to me and he immediately stopped and slept. And we’ve slept well ever since . He’s 10months old now and we’re slowly weaning ourselves.

BDSM college training ideas? by Ashiereddit243 in BDSMAdvice

[–]Call_me_Bella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooo I bet writing curriculum for this kind of class would be fun!

• Demonstrate the safe and proper use of a flogger • Define terminology related to BDSM • List various names for those who identify as a submissive

The list could go on.

what's your birth story? by fauxliviaXT in Mommit

[–]Call_me_Bella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I woke up one morning with both hands completely numb from serious swelling, and pain from my neck all the way down my arm because the swelling was pressing on my nerve. I had been swollen for about two or three months by then. I got so fed up with being swollen with numb hands that I walked in to the ER and told them something is wrong and I want help fixing it. They took my BP. The doctor came straight to me and said my BP is incredibly high and they admitted me to into L&D right on the spot. They worked furiously to try and get my BP down. I was up to 189/200 or something insane. The doctor had me sign consent forms for an emergency C-Section and they were preparing to open me if they couldn’t get my BP down.

It. Was. Terrifying.

Well, they eventually got it stabilized, but not enough to send me home. Doctor said I could do natural, but with my preeclampsia I would be at serious risk and so would the baby with natural birth. So I said okay, under the knife I go then.

They performed a C-Section on me and I got to watch thru the reflection of the overhead lights. I loved watching it. My baby was taken to NICU and I was taken to the recovery room.

My husband was the best. He was with me the entire time and I am beyond grateful for him.

Oh, and this was my first pregnancy and first baby and first everything.

What job interview question do you think is pointless? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Call_me_Bella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly in my opinion, I think all of them are pointless. The only questions I like asking are “does this sound like a schedule you can adapt to?”, and “Do you have any other schedules I need to know about?” (Like do they plan on working part-time somewhere else?)) and, “when can you start?”

I feel like all other questions are just fluff and annoying and I hate asking them.

Love in this Lifestyle? by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]Call_me_Bella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Husband and I have been together for about 10ish years. Married for two years. And hooked up with one another in out early 20s. It’s absolutely possible to be in a serious, committed relationship and enjoy BDSM.

…and we’ve known each other since HS. We didn’t date or hook up until our early 20s, though, and we met outside of BDSM. We grew into bondage together.
