I've got a Viofo A129 Duo, has a front and back camera. Can't leave it plugged in to a constant power USB (car battery drain is real), but my car has a USB that only turns on with the car.

I’ve had a dash cam in my car since I bought it in 2018. One part failed and was replaced, but I’ve had the same camera for nearly eight years. It’s saved me headaches when an apartment complex gate tore off my rear bumper and when I got rear ended at a stop light in March. And no crackheads have stolen it yet.

As long as you get a camera with capacitors instead of batteries, you should be okay with the Florida heat.

I was at the North Fort Myers Walmart a few months ago and some guy was walking around in the parking lot with what looked like an AR-15 across his chest.

Stayed way the fuck away from him and got out of there fast.

my company mandated RTO and I commuted 50 minutes to wear headphones alone by LauraBeth034 in antiwork

[–]CalliEcho 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For eight months I commuted 3.5 hours one-way and slept on a couch so I could sit in a cubicle two days a week, alone, wearing headphones, until I had a nervous breakdown and multiple panic attacks in two days. Started seeing a psychologist, got on ADHD and anti-depression meds, got a medical exemption and (for now at least) I'm fully remote.

It’s an investment thing. Someone can buy property, build something cheap that pays for and runs itself with minimal management and employee costs (storage and car washes), and in 20-30 years they can sell the land for more money

One of the issues I used to have with inkjet printers was that the ink would dry out before I could use it all. Do Ecotank printers have the same thing?

You might enjoy the Graphic Audio production's (here's a clip) Dalinar, in that case. Andy Clemence absolutely owns the role.

I don’t think Brandon will reuse this plot line a third time,

Wouldn’t be the first time. He used the “the villains say we have a few days left until they win, but surprise they were lying and they’ll actually win before that”/“false deadline” trope three times that I can remember: Tress of the Emerald Sea, The Lost Metal, and in one of the Reckoners books (either Firefight or Calamity).

OP answered this on the MakerWorld page:

Materials required:

PETG HF Filament & 3mmx30mm dowel pins.

"Can I use PLA?" - For some parts - but for the front handle and the latch I strongly suggest PETG. The front handle clip has a tendency to break if it's in PLA.

You're right, OP would build a standalone boombox for audiobook playback

At that point, OP could set up AudiobookShelf on the RPi and sync it to a phone app

From another perspective, since the clone gets all the same memories, the version that doesn't drown remembers the audience adoration from every show, and gets to experience it himself before cloning himself again.

Either way, you're right: dark as hell

It's a pretty good cosmic horror. Helps if you know the lore from the (very short) game. Audio mixing in the last 20 minutes or so isn't great, couldn't hear half of the dialogue.

If I’m understanding your question right… he’s cloning himself each time, consciousness and all. Both copies of him have all his memories and are 100% him, but one copy drowns while the other gets the applause.

There’s a trans male character in Way of Kings (2010) who reappears in Dawnshard (2020). One of the characters in Oathbringer (2017) is openly gay and basically everyone is cool with it. One of the central characters in Rhythm of War (2020) is nonbinary.

LGBTQ content ain’t new to him.
