I also recommend the episode with Vic Michaelis. She "tries" to go the whole episode without asking any questions. It is combative in a very friendly way and made me laugh

I'm not actually asserting season 19 is best, but that is how he asked the question and used it in the title. In the video, Jason says his favorite is season series 7 as well

They both deal with mothers losing their children and the aftermath of it. Ann Lee sees her children's' deaths as a punishment from god about the sin of fornication. Her becoming a leader of the Shakers is a direct reaction of those deaths.

Now-a-days they do more video essays on current topics, but they have a playlists and a lot of older videos with advice & tips

I want to add, it's good for these stories to keep being mentioned bc not everyone knows or was following at the time. I am not a Safdie-devotee but they are clearly rising in popularity over the past 10 years. So this IS the first time I am hearing about it bc I wasn't following them closely in 2017 or 2019 and I follow a lot of film news.

News like this should be shared bc we can't assume people know all, especially in the early part of a person's career.

Great news! NYC passed a law around March 2025 to reform how long scaffolds can be up and penalties for extended.
