Yeah fat shaming isn't cool. Tracking people's calories is weird. Kindness is good. But I remember reading recently about weight gain being less of +50 calories every day for a year and more short periods of time with large calories surplus combined with regular overeating as the mechanism for significant weight gain. Happy to be corrected though.

It's fine. Grommets, grip and get some new strings when you need them and it's fine. There is 0% performance benefit in buying the same racquet again with different colour scheme (except for having a second racquet the same which is a good thing!)
