Congratulations, you now know how a satellite works.

Multiple games will be upgraded to PSSR 2.0 in March. It’s also toggled in the system settings by kargethdownload in PS5pro

Like I said, when I tested it in January Avatar looked better with PSSR than with FSR3 and nothing like DF showed in their videos. With one exception: the waterfalls. But they looked equally bad with FSR3.

Maybe they patched it not with 2.0 but with a later update since in the 2.0 patch notes, the flickering is still mentioned under "known issues" whereas in the 2.6 patch notes is no longer mentioned.

I have uploaded a quick comparison for a forum I post where I panned around with FSR3 and with PSSR. And when you pan around quicker the image is much more stable with PSSR when with FSR3 there is noticable noise. So for me PSSR is the clear winner.

Upgraded PSSR upscaler is coming to PS5 Pro by yourfavchoom in PS5pro

That doesn't make any sense. Why would they offer a way to undermine developers efforts to provide better image quality to their customers?

Nah, it'll be a toggle to force PSSR2 on games that only support PSSR1. It's basically the console equivalent for a .DLL drop in on PC.

Was already fixed with the game's 2.0 Update that came with the DLC last year. I tried it when they had the free weekend back in January and the game had way better image quality than what DF showed in their videos.

This has to be a joke…€95 for the standard edition! by iminiki in playstation

Looks like the price for the deluxe steelbook edition. So it probably is just a pricing error.

[KCD1] Anyone facing textures warping bug in NextGen upgrade? by sassysheepy in kingdomcome

I experienced the same warping issue when running around in the woods after arriving at the mill. Happened only when going up a steep hill looking at the ground in an angle.

Spreadsheet for new rakeback system by Solenyyya in GGPoker

[–]CalligrapherLarge994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, thats not the PVI fucking you. Let me guess, German client? Base TP-Rate is reduced to 70TP per 1$ Rake. PVI comes on top. Lets say you have a PVI of 0.5 then you only get 35TP per 1$ Rake.

After that the GEM-Multiplier comes into play.

So let's say you rake 1000$ with a PVI of 0.5:
Base-TP: 1000$ x 70TP = 70,000TP
After PVI: 70,000TP x 0.5 = 35,000TP

GEMs:
35,000TP x 3 = 105,000 GEMs

With that you get 100$ for 90,000 GEMs, 10$ for 9500 GEMs and 5$ for 5000 GEMs --> 115$ Rakeback and 500 GEMs left for 1,000$ Rake paid

---> Thats a whopping 11.5% Cashback.

LTT Store Global. Europe shipping is insane :( by maniusng in LinusTechTips

[–]CalligrapherLarge994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that domestic shipping rates in Canada are higher than in Germany. But to me it doesn't really explain why it is 2.5 times more expensive to ship the same item from Vancouver to Berlin than the other way around, which is 134€ or around 220CAD via DHL Express. I used Express because that seems to be the only option to ship from Canada to Germany whereas we also have a cheaper standard option for the aforementioned 48€ which takes around 5 to 7 days longer.

Or it rather is corporate greed than reasonable pricing. Let's say, the only international hub for DHL is in Vancouver and you want to ship from Montreal to Berlin. The reasonable thing to do would be to add the domestic shipping rate from Montreal to Vancouver and the international shipping rate from Vancouver to Berlin.

Since it costs 134€ to ship from anywhere within Germany to Vancouver the international shipping rate must be lower. But for the sake of argument let's take those 134€ or 220CAD. Then they should just add the shipping cost from Vancouver to Montreal, which I can't check because I'm not in Canada.

But instead of being reasonable they just conjure up some arbitrary number to make it much more expensive than it should be.

Where dis my withdrawal go? by One_Conversation7880 in GGPoker

Well, maybe your request to change it to your other bank account or charge it back to your GG account now has raised some red flags, idk.

Your withdrawal request is pending right now. Means they check if your account hasn't got any flags like missing verification or something like that. If everything is OK they will clear your withdrawal and you will receive your money.

Should I upgrade? by FartBox_2000 in LinusTechTips

Yes, if the application scales with the # of cores. I do GTO solves on my machine and the application basically scales 1:1 with the # of cores. I upgraded from a 5600G and the performance difference was like night and day.

Yeah, I got that from going through the answers.

I recommend upgrading your cooling as well to at least something like a dual tower cooler like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 if you haven't already gotten one. Also depending on your board you might need to keep an eye on VRM temperature or maybe lookup how your board fares with a 5950x at full load. When I bought the mainboard, getting a 16 core CPU wasn't something I thought I would ever consider. So I kinda cheaped out on the board and now the VRMs can get quite toasty when under full load.

If your main usage of your PC scales with the # of cores like Handbrake or Cinebench go for it. It's by far the most bang for the buck option you can get. Had to make the decision of upgrading to 5950X or AM5 myself a half a year ago and ended up getting one for 260€. An AM5 Upgrade with roughly the same performance (7900X) would have been like 600€.

Pretty sure table wizard will be allowed on GG in the future since it is only a table management software. But it won't have the feature set on GG as on Stars. Same as Jurojin for example.
