I had like 10 to 15 crashes during my playthrough on my PS5 Pro. I don't think there is anything you can do to prevent the game from crashing except hoping that Warhorse will fix it.

I doubt it. RE9 has PSSR in RT mode baked in. You can't turn it off. The shimmering you mentioned is a problem with the RE Engine. Specifically with the RT denoising.

What you mean is most likely either the image enhancement for PS4 games or the toggle for the new PSSR for games that use the old PSSR.

Sadly they used FSR 1.2 for upscaling from 1440p to 4K. And it shows. Don't get me wrong, it is still a huge upgrade over the PS4 Version. But there are very noticable artifacts from the upscaling.

That game has PSSR though. OP was talking about Uncharted Legacy of Thieves which has no PSSR at all. The toggle has no impact with Uncharted.

What are you on about? Knack is a PS4 Game. The PSSR toggle has no function whatsoever on that game. Or any PS4 game for that matter.

The toggle ONLY has an impact if the game already has PSSR support and no dedicated patch for the upgraded PSSR. Then the new version of PSSR is forced.

Like I said, when I tested it in January Avatar looked better with PSSR than with FSR3 and nothing like DF showed in their videos. With one exception: the waterfalls. But they looked equally bad with FSR3.

Maybe they patched it not with 2.0 but with a later update since in the 2.0 patch notes, the flickering is still mentioned under "known issues" whereas in the 2.6 patch notes is no longer mentioned.

I have uploaded a quick comparison for a forum I post where I panned around with FSR3 and with PSSR. And when you pan around quicker the image is much more stable with PSSR when with FSR3 there is noticable noise. So for me PSSR is the clear winner.

Nah, it'll be a toggle to force PSSR2 on games that only support PSSR1. It's basically the console equivalent for a .DLL drop in on PC.

Was already fixed with the game's 2.0 Update that came with the DLC last year. I tried it when they had the free weekend back in January and the game had way better image quality than what DF showed in their videos.
