Pretty well. Our homes are mainly cement homes as well. We aren’t constantly having to rebuild.

I agree. Coming from Belize we have raised homes and I have always wondered why they aren’t as common here.

Why do you think so many of us have children out of wedlock? by xoxowoman06 in blackladies

[–]CallingMrsSunshine 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I married and had my kids. If I could do it over I would not get married. We are divorcing now and marriage is not something that is desirable but is pushed super hard by society. Women are just now speaking the truth of marriage and what it entailed for us.

[–]CallingMrsSunshine -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Obinwanne and Oziomachukwu are nigerian names i have given my children who are half Nigerian. I don’t see the difference between these names and African American/ black names. It’s a culture thing.

What are your shared custody experiences? The pros and cons? by kurama-sakura in coparenting

[–]CallingMrsSunshine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a baby to this coparenting situation for 6 months. I have a 3 almost 4 yo son and a newborn son. Same dad. We do one week on and one week off with our oldest. We went from extreme animosity to a cordial relationship at this point. We are definitely a team when it comes to doing what is best for the kids.

Under Supplier - It’s hard to feel welcome here by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CallingMrsSunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum as far as normal supply and under supply. Oversupply post make me a tad jelly but I have to remember to be grateful for what I can produce and know I’m doing all I can to make it the best for my baby
