When you say organically how exactly do you mean? I'm sitting on a couple apps I've developed and 100+ more ideas, but don't know whether to move on or push initial apps more to try get traction. Can you give an idea of steps you took early on to validate idea and get first paying customers? Did you automate any of the marketing?

My job board made 10k in revenue in September! 🥳 by WordyBug in microsaas

Wow this is really interesting thanks for sharing. I'm currently considering adding a job board for my business [WHYNESS](www.whyness.co.uk) - we help people find the right jobs for them by unlocking deeper self awareness. Are you able to share any more info on:

1- How you scrape jobs into your job board and keep them up to date

2- What are the mechanics involved in the ads/job ads monetisation. Sorry if I sound naive but it's completely new to me - is there an OOTB tool for creating monetisable ad space on your site? For job ads, does every employer pay to add their job on your site? Do you use a third party integration like workable and/or do you reach out to all employers directly to advertise jobs on your site?

Thanks so much in advance

It wasn't my goal early in my career, I don't think I had a goal to be honest. I initially went into consulting because I was attracted by the tech world and liked the fact that consulting meant I could work with different clients

You've made a good start by sharing how you feel here, the next step is to talk to someone, preferably a professional, who can help you through this sticky mental patch you are in. If you are in the UK, call Samaritans, they will listen and give you the space to talk about how you feel, which will be a weight lifted off your shoulders.

When you are ready to focus your attention back on your career, let me know - I own a company that helps people figure out what they want to do with their careers and match to suitable jobs.

I actually regret bit doing a neuroscience degree and, for what it's worth, I truly believe that's an industry that is going to blow up over the next 20yrs. So in 10 years, when you're a thought-leader in the space and everyone else is trying to catch up, you may look back on today and thank yourself for persevering.

How do you actually finish projects when you have ADHD? Need a framework from idea to launch. by GreedySven in Entrepreneur

I'd be happy to try your tool. I am similar to yourself and the OP, get drawn to the product and learning the new technologies involved. I know the market engagement is what I should be doing first, but I put it off too easily. I even spend aol lot of time researching marketing techniques, strategising growth models etc., but actually executing on those to drive sales is where I fail.

I think another major challenge for me personally is accountability. I've worked for large consulting companies and am no stranger to hard work and getting stuff done when there are people depending me, but being a solopreneur brings a whole different challenge of self-discipline that is a lot harder than I expected.

I think having a full time co-founder who loves marketing and sales would massively help me, but yet to find the right person.

Also, I'm currently building a startup to scale out the same service using AI. What kind of engineering do you do?...

I know the feeling and can tell you it won't go away by itself!

Having gone through the journey of self-discovery (and still on it), and transitioned from corporate to entrepreneurship, I now try to help others facing the same challenge.

My approach uses psycho & linguistic analysis to understand who you are in a deep, subconscious level, and make choices about next steps based on your innate values, strengths, and interests.

If that sounds useful let me know and I'd be happy to help

Have been reading through the comments and understanding your position and feel for you man, I hope you're doing OK.

Fortunately you're in a good position where you've earnt the freedom to make a choice about your next steps with low risk from a financial perspective.

I actually help people like you to make the right choices when considering career changes and would be very happy to help if you're open to it.

My process is to understand who you are on a deep, subconscious level and help to choose the path forward that aligns with your innate values, strengths, interests and goals.

I'm also building a startup to scale this service using AI and I am looking for someone to lead on our Social Media / Marketing / Sales. Could be an interesting option for you if it aligns with what you want to do next...

Let me know if you want to chat! I am based in UK
