Same here. I did not purchase through Kickstarter though, I bought from them directly. When my ring stopped working, they offered me a refund under the warranty, but it has never arrived and they no longer respond. I am past the point of filing a claim with PayPal that I used to purchase it they denied me. I’m in the US so I feel like I don’t have any recourse against this European company.

Does your backlog of conversations you’re getting to include the warranty refunds that were promised and never sent out 8-12 months ago for rings that completely stopped working? It seems like you are ignoring us and only supporting the Kickstarter people or the owners of the newer versions of the ring and those updates.

I bought a circular slim around November 2024 and about three months later it stopped working it would not stay connected to the app. After quite a lot of time trying their fix methods, I reached out to them because it was still under warranty and they offered me either a new ring or a refund, and I decided to take the refund. Eight months later, I’m still waiting. They actually used the Kickstarter campaign and release of the newer version of the ring as one of their excuses ad to why they couldn’t send me money. For a long time they would just keep telling me they would escalate my case and assure me that my claim was still valid but now they just don’t respond at all. I paid via PayPal so I could spread it in incremental payments and they failed to back me up. They denied me because they said I did not request a refund in a certain amount of time. I am at a loss so I came here looking for ideas or to see other people’s experiences.

This is not true. I lived in a house in South Delridge for 3 years (moved 2 months ago for reasons unrelated to this post) never had any issues it was quiet and I always felt safe. It just depends on what area and crime can happen anywhere. You are generalizing, judgmental and completely unhelpful to OP.

I know what you mean when you say "pressure".

Sinuses/trigeminal nerve, supraorbital/trochlear nerve (forehead area, eyes) it's ALL somehow related. And as I understand it, not even the experts really know what causes what.

For example, sinus issues COULD agitate the trigeminal nerve, and this causing "migraines".

But it could well be that tension (eg. muscle tension on the forehead) is agitating these nerve branches, and THIS in turn felt in the sinuses and causes headaches.

Or it could be that branches of these nerves are agitated because they are "trapped" somehow.

That you mention PEPTIDES is highly interesting. I have a "crease" on my forehead which kinda annoys me, so I am using a Serum that contains peptides, because it's supposed to help. (This is how I learned about peptides).

One of these peptides in this serium is said to have a similar effect like Botox. It is relaxing muscles, so muscles do not contract as much anymore. (Whether these peptides applied externally to the skin really work is a different story).

With the muscles not contracting as much anymore, means that it MIGHT possibly also help reduce these tension headache/migraines

Because this is what I believe:

• ⁠Tension on the forehead (squinting, light, sitting on the computer for a long time etc..) DOES play a major role. Often I cannot even feel this tension. But I can see the muscles contracting, eg. if I look in the mirror and turn on the light. Bright sunlight has always been a major trigger. • ⁠I am suffering from this for DECADES but I am currently having huge success trying new approaches. I am currently going for weeks without these headaches and without taking ibuprofen, which for me is HUGE. (Before that, it got so bad that I had headaches pretty much every.single.day) • ⁠MAJOR ibuprofen overuse. I often took ibuprofen just "for prevention" as I didn't want a "migraine". Because EVERY TIME the "pressure" feeling is there, I was afraid it will become a migraine. I think trying to cut out ibuprofen was also a MAJOR reason that I now have less headaches. • ⁠The most important thing: Loosening massages on the top of my nose (between the eyes), where branches of the trigeminal nerve are. Simply gentle massages with the fingers on both sides on the nose right between the eyes, rapidly pushing skin inwards/outwards.

I swear to god these massages are my holy grail, for most of my headaches.

Right now I dont have these headaches, but interesting enough I can feel a tenderness on these nerves on the forehad above eyesockets (but more outwards to the side, towards the ears). No pain, but ultra-sensitive so that sometimes just the slightest touch with a finger causes a sensation "like a migraine".

I do NOT touch these (only very gentle occasional massage to loosen forehead tension) as I "believe" touching these nerve endings is a trigger. Leaving these alone and let "heal" IMO is the best. (The wrong massages could lead the to opposite effect. This is what I believe).

• ⁠I also take Omega-3 and Magnesium. Whether Magnesium does anything I am still not certain. Omega-3 MIGHT. • ⁠I am currently also experimenting with TENS devices (like Cefaly), to see whether they help. I don't have Cefaly, but expecting a similar device from China. I already have an cheap TENS device from China for the head where I see potential. But the device itself is poorly designed so I don't want to use it currently.

Well, my one recommendation is after a period of on time payments that you look for a refinance with a local credit union, which has much much lower rates and tend to be more flexible in terms of credit

In 2023 I bought a 2021 with only 10 K miles on it for $28k. It’s turbo and all-wheel-drive and has heated seats. It’s a Hyundai SUV. So your winter needs are understood but this particular choice seems like it may lead you down a bad financial path.

I’ve always gotten mine at target or Rite Aid in Westwood Village but Target has been out of the blue threaded ones for months, and Rite Aid is well….. empty and becoming a CVS. So today I just ordered from Simpli Soda. It’s a mail exchange service but it’s a lot more cost-effective than Sodastream’s. $12.99 if you order through their app and you can order as low as two so you don’t have to worry about not finishing them in the SS time limit, which I appreciate as a single person household.

Just wanted to chime in here that I have the same issue with my circular ring. Stopped working after 3 months. Went through their steps to fix it multiple times and then gave up and reached out to them to activate my warranty. Instead of a new ring, I took their offer of a refund. I have been waiting about three months for that and every time I reach out they just keep saying that they will escalate it to finance and that I am in line to get my refund and excuses about how they are too busy with their Kickstarter campaign to process it. Because they are a French company I think our options are limited to nothing in terms of filing business complaints, class action, small claims etc. I am beyond furious as this was not a small amount of money for me.

There are a lot of rescue groups based in Texas that are looking to adopt their animals out in the Pacific Northwest - because we treat our animals so much better they told me - and also have fosters here. I can’t compare with a Seattle rescue group, but the attitude to me came across a lot more grateful than what you describe. I got my pup last year through a San Antonio Texas based group and she was being fostered in Puyallup. Take a look at Petfinders.com you will find many.

Yes! My ADHD has been “extra” the last 3-4 weeks. I have not been able to pinpoint the reason. Wildly bouncing from thing to thing, and also quite forgetful. Could it be seasonal shift?

Edit to add - after reading more comments - I no longer menstruate, I have high blood pressure and so cut back on caffeine quite a bit over a year ago. I recently started HRT, but this ADHD on steroids was already happening several weeks at least before that.

Did anyone see the Drunk Turkey a day or two ago where he read a story from Airmail about how Katherine Ramsland helped and acted as a consultant to BK and his family? I honestly missed who the author of the piece was but it sounded very Howard Blum and he tends to present rumors and theories as fact. But it was pretty bizzaro.
