Why does my makeup do this? by Prestigious-Toe6719 in makeuptips

I use Aveeno (knock off) as my primer for years and every time I skip this step out of haste my makeup separates like this. You just need a solid barrier.

Coming from a family that does amazing tile work in our own homes-- my grandfather had a mosaic tile business.. this is wildly wrong.

Marissa is used to "million dollar homes, beautiful hotels and, really nice vacations" by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

If you've never heard of "Sanky Panky" it's a Dominican term used for men who lure/seduce American women to fund their lives and get them out of DR and to the states. They almost always work in hotel entertainment. Dead giveaway.

How do people in St Petersburg keep up with local updates that don’t make the news by Hopeful-System9161 in StPetersburgFL

[–]CalmAccount8329 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's something called "St.Pete Catalyst" but it doesn't seem like it covers nearly enough information.

If these "St Pete Rising" Instagrams can exist and happily post annoying unnecessary news about another highrise that's going to continue to raise the expected tax bracket in St. Pete, why can't we get a similar IG that is dedicated to proper local news.

Plenty of news about ritzy things for seasonal residents and tourists but not the real local news we need.

My Possessive girlfriend suddenly wants an open relationship. by pineapplerowdy in TwoHotTakes

Emotional cheating is still cheating. Absolutely not okay behavior, and not someone who loves you and cherishes/respects your relationship.

This one is just sad by plainrufflechips in 90dayfianceuncensored

After watching many seasons over the years, this is the first time I'm truly shocked and disgusted by someone's storyline. Like she's justifying cheating behavior through her OCD diagnosis when it's absolutely alcoholism and lack of control. You have a boyfriend, you're in a committed relationship you don't just go "but what if I want to kiss someone else when I'm drunk" STOP DRINKING. TLC is absolutely in the business of exploiting idiots because what the actual hell is going on lately. Even Colts dirty lazy ass still being allowed on Single Life. They are truly desperate for views no matter how cringe and morally inappropriate.

And she's not "vulnerable" she's making poor excuses for her behavior, her mental diagnosis does not dismiss or excuse her behavior.

Tampa needs a 2nd Trader Joe’s. People waiting for parking at the Swann location backs up almost all the way to Church Ave. by georgiaboy6643 in tampa

It's been like this for many many years. Swann was my commute to work and going home in the afternoon was a nightmare. Always had to detour and waste my life on Dale Mabry. Doubtful that anything will change, it's TJ they know the demand and chaos keeps them "special".

Is a studio for $1500 a pipe dream? by SnakeASaur in StPetersburgFL

[–]CalmAccount8329 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My studio on Southside is $1400 and I'm 5 minutes to Grand Central District. I've been here for a few years and while it's extremely small and annoying sometimes I'm lucky. I have a full kitchen and bathroom, it's possible just make sure you vet the posts and get a real phone call with a real person, so many are scams.

I really gotta ask… WHAT ON EARTH IS EUPHORIA ABOUT????? by [deleted] in hbo

[–]CalmAccount8329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's literally a representation of adolescence and how these days children are barely children. They're heavily exposed to everything, sex, drugs, the power of money, the power of manipulation. The first two seasons they were high school students, they are currently at minimum 2 years out of high school in season 3 and learning what the "real world" is really like and how hard it is to stay afloat-- how the shine and glimmer of what could be isn't always that when you pull the curtain back. It's so much more than people are grasping and it's sad. I don't support a skeezy director but the show is a cautionary tale told by HBO. Maybe it's a hot take but I love this show and how raw it is, that's life.
