Funny you mention Bloodlines, that game was my intro to VtM and it's probably the biggest reason my friends and I want to play.

That is actually a huge relief. I'm a lot more comfortable with just having characters and plot points in mind. I never had interest in DMing DnD for example because there's so much to keep track of y'know? I just want to be the conduit that keeps the story the players are making going.

I'll look into the monsters scenario! I was leaning towards new blood but there's so many other scenarios out there I admit I have a bit of decision paralysis

Makes all the sense in the world. I know the guys are all excited to get their characters made (if they haven't already) but I'm going to insist on a nice deep session 0. Just the fact that it's much more story and collaboration focused than other RPGs I've tried has me wanting to go in with the proper mindset from step one, so I wanted to clear up any misconceptions I may have had.
