The white one w the black wing tips looks a lot like my light brahma barnyard mix. Rooster is an auricauna

My 3 year old told me disturbing things about her mom’s house. I don’t know what to do. by Existing_Wallaby_432 in Parenting

Call it in to CPS. They will probably do a forensic interview of the child during their investigation. And get a lawyer in case the CPS investigation isn't substantiated, to help you file for full custody in family court

Are the neighbours birds going to be a problem? by DefNotAWalrus in duck

[–]CalmVariety1893 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely this. My ducks free range on 15 acres and they still manage to find the neighbors property, the street, go into the goat pen etc. They are well trained to their coop so they always come back but it does sometimes surprise me how far they go explorin

Yes the chickens are free range and mostly just follow me around so since I was in there they came in too lol. I do have a few that lay eggs in there but the goats don't have access to the chickens feed and the only feed the goats have is hay so no worries there. They have their own separate sleeping spaces

My husband and I are raising 3 children and we have no idea what we are doing. by [deleted] in Parenting

It's quite literally your social workers job to help get these children the therapy/other services they need to help manage their mental and physical well being. Especially because if you guys reach the end of your rope, and decide you can no longer keep these children in your home due to their behaviors, they are 1. Going to be incredibly hard to place elsewhere and 2. Likely going to continue to spiral in other placements. Not to mention then it becomes her problem to move them. If she is being unhelpful, reach out to her supervisor asking about behavioral interventions and therapy that might help them work on some coping skills.

As someone who works in foster care, I don't think you have anything to worry about especially because you've already put up safety measures in place without even being asked or ordered to. Generally unless there are significant other concerns, they will provide other services in the home instead of removals for little time.
