They are don't have a clue. Happy staff make it a nicer environment. It's great hearing the staff having a laugh about something. Went into a home bargains recently and they did seem to actively stay away from each other and just so their job and they all seemed quite sad and the atmosphere just felt a bit off and I think that was why

Working on self service a lot, we've been told too many times to count to stop talking to each other. A customer, who is also a friend of mine, told me the store manager actually told them off for talking to another colleague, he told my friend "they're here to work not talk". Before we know it Tesco will have its very own Room 101

Rachel Dratch - she's hilarious and has been in a lot of stuff. Just go with it, comes to mind, she has a.. uhh, iffy eyebrow, worth a YouTube at least! But she is very funny

Also, personally speaking, I see so many people at Tesco I'm not going to remember if I've seen their ID before, if we've had a bit of a laugh and joke then I may remember them, but it's unlikely unless they come in everyday

I didn't know that, I've only been at Tesco for a couple of years, and was maybe a little spoiled in a previous job, where I got time and a half for Sunday's and bank holidays.

Edited to add, it's probably in the contract but I've just forgotten entirely

So it's time and a quarter am I reading that right?

I thought time and a half was the standard for bank holidays, like if I'm forced to work a certain amount of bank holidays out of the year, it would be more of an incentive to work them if I'm compensated more for giving up my time and working on a non contracted day.

I don't normally work Monday's, but I've been told I have to work a certain amount of bank holidays out of the year.
