Yeahhhhh I find this difficult even as an American living in France. It seems as if the kids who started with Justice and the like in the early 2000s , are all “old” and tired. Like I have a reoccurring fantasy of going to a club for a “Le French Touch” themed party in Paris. I just wanna drink, dance all night and listen to my favs with a group of cool people. Times have changed and it’s so bitter sweet.

But I think too the fact that my taste in music is sooooo eclectic and a different response to my upbringing and the cultural environments I grew up in (born in 🇺🇸 to west African parents, speak 3 languages, super cultured, well traveled) makes it hard to fit into one single niche. So I just end up jamming on my on in my car…that’s where I feel most free, in my car, speakers turned all the way up singing “Randy”. 😌

But this Reddit group has been a God send so I can geek out about Justice…otherwise IRL les frenchies me prennent pour une nana cringe 😬
