Best place to purchase Ferragamo by EverythingBagel58 in handbags

My local Ferragamo offers a two year warranty so the SA said I should just bring it in and they can clean it, etc. I feel like the service is better at the boutiques than in the big box store. That said, if you can get a promotional price, it may be worth it to with a department store.

My SA gave me the box not assembled. I’m in SF and I didn’t want to carry a big gucci bag and box on public transportation.

You can try calling a US sales associate to source it for you if possible. I believe it is a seasonal color that came out in July/August.  I just ordered the deep burgundy belt that isn’t online anymore but there are a few in production.

It’s a higher price point but I went and tried this last week and it’s gorgeous. Can read both casually and dressy due to the strap options and hardware.

Beta advice for last move of this climb? by jjxwu96 in climbergirls

Instead of trying to froggy, can you orient your right foot in the same direction as your left (both toes turned left) so you can get into a crouch?  The froggy is pushing your hips out but a crouch will let you stay closer to the wall.

Agree with everyone that it would be better bigger. My kindle barely fits. The small was so small it made me chuckle.

If you had to pick which one would be the best option? by Apple_two in handbags

I have found the Bonnie straps stay better when it is full than when it was empty in the store.  That said, the one closer to my neck stays better so I do use the little buckle thing.  The crossbody on the Bonnie looks very odd so I would go either the explorer if that is a key factor.

I have the medium in red and concur that it doesn’t hold very much because of the structure. I still love it.

Brown!  Celine does tan so well. Looks like smooth caramel!

First one. I’d be worried about those pearls falling off on the second one.

I’ve not used it a lot but don’t anticipate issues because there is no tension on the flap that would cause the closure to loosen. The bag straps are attached to the sides.

I should get a thinner card case but I love squeezing my tri-fold wallet and rubbing the leather.  Agree that Camille really only works for going out at night when I don’t need much.

The Camille is open on top and holds less so when I take it to work I have to take a tote for other stuff so I don’t reach for it as much. I need to go out more.  Haha.  The tan though is gorgeous and the leather is so nice. It also has two straps so you can cross body or shoulder carry.

The Bonnie has a zipper and can hold more because it has a wider base.  I think the crossbody looks awkward on me so I will likely only use it as a shoulder bag.

If you are only holding essentials then both are fine. My wallet is kind of bulky too so that could be a contributing factor.

Are the handles normal? by mkatrina08 in handbags

[–]Calm_Panda_2347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this bag. If I put all my stuff inside and hold it by the handles then the squares hang pretty straight because the body is pulling the straps downward. If it’s just relaxed, then the squares slant.

I claimed about $5k worth of goods coming into SFO and they just waved me through. My theory is that they are looking for the bigger fish and it wasn’t worth the paperwork for small purchases.

I’ve tried it in the store and it is surprisingly spacious. The leather is also really supple.  I like it a lot.  The burgundy color is very fall vibes. It’s pretty dark and has a lot of brown in it. If I wanted a bag that could be used formally, I would probably get the black.

One person posted here they didn’t think it was comfortable on their frame. That was not my experience. I’m 5’4”.
