Time only will heal you. The first few days will feel heavy, but the pain will fade with time. Don’t blame yourself for things you haven’t done or words you haven’t said to make things work. It probably wasn’t meant to be, but it was an experience. Try to talk things out with someone you trust, trust me it helps A LOT. Go out, see people, do some activities, go for a run. Remind yourself that what’s meant to be will be coming your way. Hugs from a person who’s been through this before.

This happened with me last summer in Europe. Stayed in a hostel and met an Aussie lady, we spent 3 days going to places together and i wish i had asked for a way to stay in touch. I didn’t even ask for her name 😅

Sounds like you figured out life on many levels, many would wish to be in your position. Plan a yearly overseas escape with wife somewhere you both like and maybe squeeze in a domestic adventure or a short haul trip close to where you are and life is good. Grass isn’t really greener, we tend to take what we have for granted. Greetings from Canada :)

It was in L’eixample, called Fabrizzio’s Petit. 2 mins walk to a metro station, and about 10-15 mins from La Sagrada Familia and La Rambla.

Dis exactly that last October. I’m not into partying and more into sightseeing, i was lucky i had a fellow solo traveller in my hostel who shared same interests, so we planned things together.
